So here is the Big Bracket with all of Round 1 completed:

• Three #1 seeds and five #2 seeds were defeated in the first round.

• I count 44 total upsets out of 128 match-ups.

• The only way Woody Allen was able to win a match-up (he had six movies in the running) was by beating himself. (Sleeper defeated Play It Again, Sam)

• I think Bracket 5 is by far the toughest competition in the whole shebang. I predict that the winner of the Bracket 5 / Bracket 6 (in the Great Eight) will be the overall champion when the dust settles, but it's gonna get crazy tough towards the end.
