This week on Morrus' Unofficial Tabletop RPG Talk, Morrus and Peter count down the Top 11 Best Horror Tabletop RPGs as voted on by the readers of EN World. In the news, we’ve got two new Dungeon of the Mad Mage previews, the final total on the Judge Dredd & the Worlds of 2000 AD Kickstarter, Pathfinder 2nd Edition Playtest updates, the sale of tabletop gaming giant Asmodee, a rash of thefts at this year’s Essen Spiel, plus we play Our Favorite Game in All the World, and we have a brand new recording from the Adventurer’s Helpline!

For those waiting for November 2nd's release of Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage, there's some bad news -- it looks like the book is being delayed by a week due to a printing issue. WotC says "Halaster is at it again! Because of a hex he cast upon the printing presses in our world, Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage, Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage Maps & Miscellany & Waterdeep: Dragon Heist Dice Set will be in game stores on Nov. 9 & everywhere else on November 20."
This 67-page book contains a collection of random tables which enable you to quickly design a whole variety of places, from taverns to wizard's towers to guilds to sinister cults. Whether you are designing a new location from scratch or just need inspiration, the ideas and details in this book will help bring your world to life.
Just for Halloween fun, I've gone to the Wikipedia list of horror roleplaying games and made a poll to see what the top 10 most popular are. If your choice isn't on this list, post in the thread and I'll add it. You may select multiple games. I've tried to include RPGs, but not settings for RPGs (though that would also be a fun poll). Votes are hidden -- I'll reveal them in dramatic fashion later! Voting closes Sunday midnight. I'll reveal the results first on next week's podcast, and then post them here.
The Judge Dredd & The Worlds of 2000 AD tabletop roleplaying game Kickstarter has just two days left to run! But the news doesn't stop coming - we have some more interviews, and a big preview of the various "Case Files" (short adventures) in the core rulebook.

Earlier this week, I posted about DnD Sports, an upcoming competitive streaming D&D "e-sports" tournament run by D&D Beyond and Encounter Roleplaying, using the Roll20 platform, complete with large cash prizes. As of today, the name of the tournament has been changed to RPG Sports, and dndsports.tv now redirects to rpgsports.tv.
Playing in a recently released city adventure? Over on EN5ider, you'll find twelve new spells for various classes, designed for urban environments. Whether evading guards, catching thieves, or navigating dark alleys, these spells are the mainstay of the city-born caster. Carvel's convoked conveyance, dubious aura, hellish handshake, and verminous shroud are just some of the spells found here, ranging from 1st-8th level spells.
It's a Ravnica bonanza today! In addition to a look at the Ravnica: Broken Pact livestream, and an overview of some races and other rules from the upcoming setting book, there's also an art preview from WotC's Nathan Stewart by artist Vicktor Titov, as part of his Extra Life charity fundraising efforts. Dinosaurs!
