The iconic bike of the Judges, the Lawmaster motorbike is a formidable piece of equipment. Armed with the Cyclops Laser and bike cannon it provides a Judge with enough firepower to deal with almost any situation. The bike’s computer allows it to run independently, so it can be used as a decoy or even to tackle perps head on while its rider can concentrate on other tasks. Check out this preview from the upcoming Judge Dredd & The Worlds of 2000 AD tabletop roleplaying game.

Starfinder Unboxing The Munchkin Starfinder Box

I came home from running some errands recently, and I was greeted at my doorstep by a door stop of a box, the recently Kickstarted game of Munchkin Starfinder from Steve Jackson Games. There was a lot to see in the box, so let's take a look.
Over the weekend, Paizo posted two new Pathfinder 2nd Edition blogs. The first looks at backgrounds, with three examples (Blacksmith, Street Urchin, Pathfinder Hopeful); and the second looks at monsters and the way they are built in the new edition of the game.
Earlier today I answered ten questions about Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. I have some spare time right now -- so I'll answer another ten questions. First ten questions, one question each, don't ask me to list reams of content or locate a single keyword in a 250-page book I just got, and remember this isn't an essay assignment. Below is a handy-dandy summary of the answers to the previous set of ten questions. For the next ten questions - ask away! Time, as before, is limited.

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Centaurs and Minotaurs

As a Dragonlance junkie, it’s interesting to see how they’ve pulled back the damage on the minotaur to make it more workable as a player race (I imagine that working with the Volo races gave them a better baseline). The Hybrid Nature mechanic is interesting here, especially given the number of Fey Ancestry races that we’ve seen so far (who aren’t both Humanoid and Fey), as well as the...

Talking About An Apocalypse: Looking At Apocalypse World 2E

Apocalypse World is the first game to use what we now call the Apocalypse World Engine, published in 2010. It's an innovative system that builds the world as part of character creation, and where the GM (here called the MC) has essentially the same rules as every other player. The second edition of the game was Kickstarted in 2016, and brought the game a bit more in line with the dozens of games that came after.

I will answer 10 questions about Mordenkainen's Tome

The nominees for this year's Origins Awards have been announced by the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Design. There are a number of different categories for the awards, but we will focus on the role-playing specific nominations. You can find the complete list of nominations here.
