I'm back!

Just wanted to throw my agreement behind having fewer, tougher encounters for pbp. Seems to work better that way. Plus, we did sort of steamroll this one ;)

On a slightly different topic, is anyone else having a little difficulty switching back and forth from epic to low-heroic? It's a little weird going from a game where a healing surge is 30 hp and you do 2d12+15 or more with an at-will to games where healing surges are 6-7 hp and at-wills do 1d8+4, and the monsters have a grand total of 30 hp, no?

I'd like Kalas out front, being senior meat-shield and all. Standard precautions? Hmmm... I guess perception, using my passive perception seems the best way. so 36 perception for me.

Sarenax can really go anywhere we need him. We don't really have anyone particularly squishy - Orelal is the softest, but he's not exactly vulnerable - so we probably don't need to make an escort around anyone. He'd like to be closer to the front, but it doesn't matter much.

Precautions ... I can't think of any beyond being generally alert, myself.

Everyone should stay within 5 of Orelal, this will avoid surprises. Massacre will ride atop a flying Lucy most of the time at altitude 1, at altitude 2 if anyone wants to walk below him. Every so often he will detect magic for odd influence or auras. He will keep constantly aware of his tower as well, mostly by checking the eyes every so often.
