Not sure if that's a good order, and I'd also probably make 1 die pool instead of 2 (or 1/turn), but there's a full class worth of stuff.

I like it in a frankenstein sort of way.

I think I would cut off his Fighting Style.
Protection style is a pretty warlord-y ability. Using your reaction to give disadvantage.

I do agree that archery or duelist are not, so i'll switch it to just protection style.

So this "non-front line, support" role also needs archery, one of the better fighting styles? This is just more kitchen-sinkery, if you ask me.

You know, Psikerlord also made a subless warlord class. A warlord fix could certainly be a flat class, like the four classes in the Basic PDF.

5E can be played without subclass bloat.

EDIT: What about swapping 5 and 7?

I guess what I am typing is that it might be kinda cool to come up with a Flat Classes 5E. Just write out the class with a subclass and call it a class.

Assassin Class
Thief Class
Arcane Trickster Class.

Pros: MC Assassin Arcane Trickster!

Woot!

/end derail.

7 and 5 are a good change because Expertise at level 5 can fill in missing spots in the party. And PDK second wind might be more useful at lower levels. I think it is a fair trade considering a supporting role versus another attack. Which could be considered support in its own way.
