Name one thing you love and one thing you hate about 4e D&D

Love: Shoot! Just about everything! Most "problems" with previous edition(s) addressed. DMing is less of a chore (again).

Hate: Major errors (skill challenges, stealth rules) at launch. I don't mind minor errors, but ones that affect playabilty at release is shameful. At least they were addressed quickly.

I can't limit myself to just one on each of these:

Love: simple and robust mechanics, no uber-classes and every class is now viable and contributes heavily during play, rituals, powers, disease condition track (which would be cool to use with curses too), ease of prep and running, dynamic and fast combats, PoL, most of the new art

Hate: the economy is wonky (moreso than other versions of D&D), no rules for lasting injuries, more non-combat powers and rituals BADLY needed, Wayne Reynolds cover art on the core books (come on, he's SOOOO 3rd edition) :p

Likes: There are only a few things that I like. As such, I will list them
- most non-biological abilities of race have been seperated out of race
- unified saving throws
- heroic tier multiclassing
- spellcasters are balanced with other classes

Dislike: I can't choose just one from among the following:
- cleric and paladin abilities
- divine challenge
- paragon paths and epic desitines (but I also generally disliked the 1e bard, BECM I leveling to qualify for certain classes, and most 3e PrCs.)
- per encounter/daily abilities
- +1/2 level to ability checks and untrained skills
- the lack of skill points
- skill consolidation
- removal of craft and profession skills
- healing rules
- daily magic item use
- Monsters with magic items or magic items do not get the full bonus
- the economy
- residuum.
- less accomodating to a variety of playstyles than previous editions
- WOTC won't support both 3e and 4e
- GSL.
- Revoking of the d20 license.

Love: The ease with which I can DM a game. Thank heavens the CR system got the axe. LOVE minions. What a great idea. Love the change to the save system, and that wizards have to hit with spells (which scales much better than 3.5 save DC).

Hate: The character classes! In an effort to make them balanced WotC has made them virtually identical. All the powers are a variation on a single theme. Magic Items - what a bunch of crap. Not a single inspiring item in the lot. That I can't play a half-orc barbarian without buying a supplement (although from what I've seen of the classes already, not too worried about it).

What do I like? There are many things, but I won't cheat on this poll, so I bring it down to one point.
I Love:
The math works. It is transparent. No auto-hit or auto-failure. You can see how it works, at all levels.

I hate:
Hate is a strong word, but anyway - That the designers created a wonderful combat power system, but then decided to not try the same for non-combat powers.

Of course, I am certain of these things:
1) They would have come up with something very good, probably better then the equivalent stuff in Storyteller games or Torg. ;)
2) That even more people would complain about the non-combat system. I don't know if it would have been called "Forgy", "Narrativisty", or "Storytellery", but I am sure most still in the "Rules as Physics" mindset would hate powers like Well Connected or Ancient Lore or Escape Route.
Well, maybe 5E will have this. Or Unearthed Arcana 4E. Or d20 Modern 2.0...
