Prison Break - 4th Season

Prison Break is not exactly a "genre show", but I suppose there must be some fans around here, too!

So, how are people liking the current season?

I must admit that I feared that they had stretched the entire story too far and stuff got a little too unbelievable in the past 2 seasons.

But I really enjoy this season so far. Our "heroes" are on the move, actively working on bringing down The Company. In the past season, Micheal and Lincoln often felt a little to much controlled by others, but this time, they are taking initiative (even if prompted by someone else), and are back to having a "plan". (And I think the "mini-plans" each episode worked pretty well, and reminded me particularly of the first season.)

While the return of Sarah was a little contrived, I won't complain, I like having her back, her relationship to Micheal is too valuable.

I am not a fan of Michaels illness, though I must admit it fits the character.

This season seems to be right back on track and should (if it indeed is) be a worthy finale to the show.

I love Prison Break.

I'm two weeks behind, so I didn't immediately read this for fear of spoilers, but Prison Break is the best genre show around.

It is without a doubt, the show most like an RPG game, with the planning, the suprise twists, and the cliffhangers.

I definitely love the current season, but I think the past season had its weaknesses. Despite the shows title, I didn't find that orchestrating a second Prison Break was necessary, at least not in a prison that felt so artificial (but who knows, maybe such prisons really exist a lot in South America...)

Spoilers for this weeks episode (Episode 12?)

I loved the latest episode, at least to the point of Selfs betrayal. The look on the face of "The General" was great. More then once. "Haha, I got you, there are other cards" - "Actually, we have them all". "Haha, you can't kill me and you won't get out." - "Actually, we have your daughter".

That could have been a good season finale. For better or worse, the story goes on, thanks to Selfs betrayal. I would have loved closure now, but I think they might be able to pull this storyline off, too.

Prison Break is the most intense show in my tv rotation. I can't even watch it when its really on (not because i like heroes more) but because i need to tivo through the commercials to get to the cliffhangers they leave me with.

The pacing for this season ha sbeen pretty good. Every episode leaves me on the edge of my seat. Last night's episode was a complete surprise. It just seems that the team can never catch a break.

It's definitely the best season so far, except maybe the first season. The pacing, the story, the character interaction, I love it all.

Yeah, both the 2nd and 3rd season I never finished the season. I'd watch the first half and the last couple of episodes but the story was often either so slow or so convultuted it couldn't hold me.

This story was simple, six keys and sila, yet it had a lot of complexity wolven in it, still surrounding this. They even brought a character back from the dead and didn't sound too silly.
