I'm surprised to see that Diaglo has managed to vote 8 times on this poll, despite not having left a message.

It's obviously because OD&D is the only true game. :|I'm surprised to see that Diaglo has managed to vote 8 times on this poll, despite not having left a message.![]()
Yeah, because you see me attacking other editions all the time. In fact, I make a point of posting in every single thread about other editions, telling everybody how much I think this and that edition suck..I could, but I'll pass for the following reasons:
1). That's not what this thread is about.
2). I'd just be saying the same thing that dozens of other posters have already said.
3). I've seen you turn these kind of discussions into edition wars and I don't need the drama.

Man, I hope the thread lasts long enough before lockage for Diaglo to see it.
More seriously, I have been following all the polls lately. We'd be foolish to close our eyes and ears to what people are saying. Heck, I made a point of reading every last one star review of 4e on Amazon.com. If the price of getting to work on D&D is developing a thick skin then, well, that's a small price to pay.
As 4e moves forward, it makes sense to listen to both people who like the game, to get a sense of what they're looking for, and people who dislike the game, to address concerns when possible and find areas of weakness that we can strengthen.
Anyway, this weekend it seemed like every time I came to this forum, there were like 18 new polls. This is a "humorous" (YMMV) attempt to get people to lighten up a little.

There were no appealing poll options. I think there was probably a cleaner way to deliver the message than this poll.
