Poll of Polls

What is your relationship with polls, particularly ones about D&D?

I could, but I'll pass for the following reasons:

1). That's not what this thread is about.
2). I'd just be saying the same thing that dozens of other posters have already said.
3). I've seen you turn these kind of discussions into edition wars and I don't need the drama.

Yeah, because you see me attacking other editions all the time. In fact, I make a point of posting in every single thread about other editions, telling everybody how much I think this and that edition suck..

No wait, I don't. I spend my time talking about the game I actually play and like, which is more than I can say for a lot of others on these boards.

I read the preview on the main page and thought, "surely Mearls is not that naive". I'm glad to see that you aren't Mike. It's good to see people not taking everything so seriously once in a while. I just wish I knew how to vote in these polls. :)

I would have taken the last option but I'm not Diaglo so I had to contend with #2, only because I like to argue that #1 & #3 aren't in any way related to this, and arguing is fun :D

The C4bal's motives and methods are becoming common knowledge it would seem.

There were no appealing poll options. I think there was probably a cleaner way to deliver the message than this poll.

Man, I hope the thread lasts long enough before lockage for Diaglo to see it.

More seriously, I have been following all the polls lately. We'd be foolish to close our eyes and ears to what people are saying. Heck, I made a point of reading every last one star review of 4e on Amazon.com. If the price of getting to work on D&D is developing a thick skin then, well, that's a small price to pay.

As 4e moves forward, it makes sense to listen to both people who like the game, to get a sense of what they're looking for, and people who dislike the game, to address concerns when possible and find areas of weakness that we can strengthen.

Anyway, this weekend it seemed like every time I came to this forum, there were like 18 new polls. This is a "humorous" (YMMV) attempt to get people to lighten up a little.

thanks, mang. i made it before the <plonk>

You are that great rarity, Shadeydm.

Not only do your infantile posts bring nothing to the table, but you walk up to the table take things away. Truly amazing.

I'm not sure who or what this C4bal is...but if I know you're against it, I just may join.
