IVV1: The Forgotten Map [orsal judging]

As he puts the caged shocker lizard aside, Scrate remarks, "Well, that should be safe for now, while we finish our business. Do you have the map you wanted deciphered? Although... you may still decide to sell it instead."

Scrate awaits an answer for about half a minute. Then, seeing everyone's hesitation and scrutinizing your expressions, he adds, "You seem to be more tempted by that offer than last time. For four thousand crowns to be divided among yourselves, I would take that map from you. It would be a much more certain and easier payment than you could get from following its lead."

OOC: Please, if you choose not to follow the map, all you have to do is negotiate its sale, and you've finished the adventure. Are you quitting when you're this close? If one character wants to handle this last step in character, then as long as nobody else posts an objection to the final terms, I'll assume the others agree.

Mel. Crane, i see we are the only two left active. Do You want to continue? we can snag a few others and make a "new" advneture of this? there might be some 1st or 2nd level pc's getting drunk ath the RDI needing some purpose!
I really don't want IVV's work and Orsal's Dutiful act to go to waste.

[sblock=the status of IVV's adventure plan]
If it matters to you, IVV's original adventure submission ended at this point. He did note the obvious opportunity for a follow-up, but if he ever outlined plans for that followup, he never passed them on.

Now, I have a pretty good idea how it could go. I don't know if my ideas match IVV's at all, but I'm willing to continue if you want. If you want. That's the key. As far as IVV's original preparation -- that's been resolved already.

OOC: I know you judges have lives outside of En World and I ask this question out of great scicerity. ..Do you have the time to dmn a game that you never intended to run? If Melo crane and I are the only active, unless the player of Oskar or another were to chime in, we would need to recruit the new team and then go. but that , i feel strongly about this, is very much up to you. I know that as a volenteer judge and as having chosen to judge this game, you more or less chose to be a back up dm as sell as the judge of the game. But I also feel that as a natral stopping point, this might just be a good point to just say no. I am conflicted in this and am not sure how i would vote, in all honesty.

Jaker 2003?

Melodramatic crane?

Heckler?

Halford?

OCC: After thinking it over, I'm sorry to say I don't want to continue. Although I really love PbPs I'm sick of the DnD system and this character so I'm gonna bail (of course I have no prob on finishing the deal and ending it ropleplayingly if that is what we choose to do).

It sounds like selling the map and closing the book on this makes the most sense. I've seen a little that IVV wrote about the followup, but only a broad sketch, and much more intricate and substantive than anything I'd be prepared to do in that direction. If you wanted to follow the map, I'd play it to a much quicker conclusion than that. Since you're down to 1 PC, does it really make sense?

Scrate has spoken. He awaits your answer.

Seeing as there are no further objections, Karl will accept the chance to sell the map. "*sigh* I will sell the map."

OOC: sorry Jaker 2003, I didn't want to be rude and like chase you down at another thread. I though i sent a PM, but maybe I screwed up?

If you want to back track, I am all for fair play and let you change my mind! Just say so.
