Stealth and Shadow Walk

There are other abilities that will bring you up pretty close to that Rogue, if not equal. For instance tossing Mire the Mind will give the Warlock a +5 bonus to stealth for the rest of the encounter, which can somewhat balance off the lack of DEX and additional class abilities that a Rogue would have. There are other short-term bonuses also.

You're right though that the -5 from movement will be a substantial penalty. Dark Pact has Spider Queen's Caress though, which has the benefit of adding +2 to stealth and making Shadow Walk trigger on a move of 2, rather than 3.

You can build a pretty stealthy Warlock, if you really want to.

A warlock can also pick up a bat or rat familiar to gain an untyped bonus to Stealth checks.

Also, imagine a rogue paragon multi'd into warlock picking up Walker in Gloom...

As for the whole warlock thing, yes, warlocks CAN be pretty stealthy, but note a few issues they have. 1) You have to move 3 squares to remain concealed and thus you will have to roll a new stealth roll each turn and with the -5 applied for moving more than 2 squares.

Not quite. Shadow Walk requires that the warlock move 3 squares during his turn.

But with Stealth, as long as you move 2 squares or less PER ACTION, you do not suffer the -5 and do not need to reroll. So a warlock who spends two move actions and moves at least 3 squares can keep his original roll.

I'm currently playing a Warlock of Dagon.

From my understanding, you have 2 groups of "Hard-To-See" conditions:
- Partial Cover / Concealment
- Full Cover / Total Concealment / Invisibility

At least, that's how I've been treating it.

Is there any difference between Invisibility & Total Concealment?

Mechanically, not a whole lot.

Does the warlock ability allow you to use a double move? I thought it was restricted to a Move action such that if he were slowed, then he could not use it.

You must move at least 3 squares from your origin square. It doesn't specify that it needs to be done in a single move.

I apologize for not having the text in front of me. :)

So, if it doesn't specify a Move, then if you had a power that allowed you to shift 3 squares, that would also work? Running as a move action if you're slowed?

Any movement triggers shadow walk... like the feylock pact boon teleportation, or feystep. Though I would think forced movement does not trigger it.

It specifies movement on your turn, or at least heavily implies it. This means that you wouldn't benefit from Shadow Walk from your pact boon triggering due to an ally killing one of your curse targets nor would it generally due to forced movement, since that usually occurs on an opponent's turn.

My understanding is that slowed means movement is capped at two, period. I could be wrong. It would mean that you require a double move to trigger Shadow Walk.
