Products you'd love to see published (but probably never will)

I'd love to see a Pathfinder version of Planescape, or failing that, a system neutral updated version of Planescape.

Why? Pathfinder or 4E I could see - having someone else convert the crunch is helpful. But what good is a system neutral version, when you could just get the old versions and ignore the crunch?

Of course, you can't do that anymore. So the #1 thing I want is for Wizards to put all its old PDFs back up!

I would like to see a new 4e campaign setting set in the "northern" areas, with lots of tundra, snowy plains and large forests. A dungeon tile set for this type of thing would be awesome too.

I would also like to throw my hat in for the Worlds of Dungeons and Dragons book. It would be awesome. Even if it was only the size of a typical 160 page hardback, it could be loaded with all sorts of awesome. If they made it the size of a larger CG book, it would be even cooler.

OK, let's try this again (third attempt to post). The one thing that I would really like to see published that never will be is DragonQuest: The Complete Edition. It would contain the 2nd edition rules, the unpublished Arcane Wisdom supplement, and all the published adventures from SPI and TSR. If I could get that, I would finally have the game book I have been wanting since the 1980s.

Here's what I'd like...

Take the 1981 Basic and Expert rules and splice them together into one book. Other than fixing obvious errata (missing spell, dwarf/halfling saving throws), leave the text unchanged.

Include in the box dice and a disc with .pdf's of the revised version of B1, the revised version of B2, both versions of B3, B4, B5, the original version of X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, O1, M1 and M2 (perhaps with the invisible ink portions hidden until clicked upon - sort of like spoiler tags), the 3-volume combos of the Monster & Treasure Assortment and Dungeon Geomorphs, and Fill-able pc sheets.

Give it spiffy new art and sell it in Wall Mart.

2) Shadowrun, simple version. Ie, a version of Shadowrun I could run. Simple rules. Simpler setting (without books that reference events from prior editions and other supplements, so that it becomes a huge task keeping things straight and "core").

I would file this one in the "not impossible" folder.

For the record's sake, there are feat, item, spell, and class bibles for 3e, with the relative information from most of the 3e and 3.5 books (I believe it lacks Eberron stuff and MIC). However, none of them were released by WotC, so it's kinda illegal.

Me? I would've been happy with more 3.5 psionics (That WEREN'T at the level of ineptitude of Complete Psionic)

An Age of Worms hardcover and a Savage Tide hardcover, to sit beside my Shackled City one.

A hardcover version of the 3.5 War of the Burning Sky. (Not impossible for some people, but seems to be for me - I pre-ordered mine almost 11 months ago and still haven't had it; this particularly sucks because I wrote a very small part of it, the only stuff I've ever had published, and I've never seen it in print.)

The Eamonvale Incursion, in print - although that's looking quite hopeful at the moment, given it is finally available as a PDF.

A hardcover "mini adventure path" including Sunless Citadel and Forge of Fury (updated to 3.5) and Red Hand of Doom, whith Drellin's Ferry replacing the town in Sunless Citadel, and extra bits added to link all 3 adventures together.

And add me to the list of people wanting a Mystara Campaign Guide (any edition will do).

I'd definitely buy the Worlds of Dungeons and Dragons and the Age of Worms hardcover.

A Rules Cyclopaedia-like product with updated rules taken from 3.x or 4e would be great, too.

Setting books based on Magic: The Gathering blocks. Alara and Zendikar are top notch, and so have been many past blocks.
