Thanks for the link, but I already know about it, considering I'm the one that wrote it. ;) That's why I said it's a product I'd love to see published someday, though it probably never will be.... a big, full-color, hardcover FATE3 rules version of CF, marrying the setting I love to a rules set I love. Till then, I have the adaptation I made (and I hope others use and enjoy it too... by the way, here's the latest version of SoS&S in pdf format, to match the SoC&C pdf above:

Why would you want that? Surely the closeness of 4e has only improved things for PFRPG?

Just guessing here, but I imagine Mr. Mona could be making a lot more money if he were able to release products for both 3.5E and 4E. Imagine releasing a Pathfinder adventure, with both 3E and 4E rules. Could be pretty cool.

The lameness of the 4E licence kind of forced a lot of people's hands into 3.5E.

Well, as I have understood prior statements, 4e (GSL or no GSL) doesn't allow Paizo to create the adventures and stories that they like. Also, all their resources are focused on creating PFRPG (at least, I seem to recall having read that a few times as well). If I have correctly understood those two statements, it seems to me that an open GSL wouldn't have made a huge difference. But I am probably missing something ;)

I would personally love 4e versions of Pathfinder (I am a subscriber), it would save me the headache of converting, if need be.

Maybe all Paizo resources focused on Pathfinder means than one year and a half ago they were thinking about trying to produce 4E versions of some of their stuff.

Paizo fluff, for my taste, is vastly superior to Wotc's... I still have some hope to see some 4E stuff made by Paizo.

Why? Pathfinder or 4E I could see - having someone else convert the crunch is helpful. But what good is a system neutral version, when you could just get the old versions and ignore the crunch?

I'd like to see where things were going post faction war. Of course the original team is now gone from WoTC so that means it's not something we'll ever see.

I do believe that there will eventually be a 4E version of Planescape (assuming the 4E run lasts long enough) but I suspect it will be a very different animal from what was presented back in 2E days and won't so much continue the setting as re-imagine the setting.

Of course, you can't do that anymore. So the #1 thing I want is for Wizards to put all its old PDFs back up!

Sadly true.
