Maybe this will become the 4E "Monster Manual 4".

I'm not the biggest WotC fan out there with 4e and all, but to their credit even as lacking in flavor text as the 4e MM was, I truly doubt that they would ever again produce a Book o' Deity Statblocks.

I would have loved to have seen D20 Modern campaign guides for all of the old TSR setting -- Top Secret, Boot Hill, Gamma World, Gangbusters, Star Frontiers... Yes, we got hints here and there in the supplements that were produced, but I would have bought well-done hardcovers.

I would like all of the Babylon 5 Wars expanded universe updated for use in Mongoose's RPGs (either D20 or Traveller). More League of Non-Aligned Worlds, the Centauri-Orieni, etc.

I would like a book talking about the origins and evolution of iconic monsters from D&D (not in-game...the inspiration for the original design and why they changed over the various editions).

I would like a second volume to Monte Cook's D20 World of Darkness. I don't even really care what is in it, as long as it is more of his take on the setting.

I would like to see Transhuman Space from GURPS 3E as a Mongoose Traveller setting. I always liked the setting, but liked the Traveller rules better than GURPS.

I would like hardcopy Dragon magazine again. :(

I want plastic, pre-painted miniatures at 1970s prices. :)

I want season 2 of Firefly.

I want an updated Stargate RPG that encoporates the whole expanded universe in either Traveller, D20 or Cortex rules.

I'd like to see Mearl's Pre-Wars Greyhawk 4E campaign setting book.

A collection of the old modules ( cutoff date circa 1982 to 1983) updated to to 4E stats/mechanics (not necc with new art but new production standards)

Although I LIKE the 4E FRCG- I'd like to see a 4E version of the OGB Realms, including info up through FR5 or thereabouts

A 4E S&S type setting without the emphasis on "kitchen sink" as far as races/classes go- something Hyboria/Newhon-ish

EDIT- current Dragon/Dungeon in print

Heroes of Intrigue. A book dedicated to DM advice on how to run an espionage/intrigue game, both in moderm and fantasy settings.

Big Book of Fantastic Nooks and Crannies: I want a book just dedicated to fantastic locations like "Here is a magical orchard" "Here is a waterfall that runs up". Just interesting little places to stumble into/pepper your game with. In addition, add in a chapter on fantastic/magical terrain.

The DM's Guide to Faeries and Devils. Instead of a book of all crunch, what I want is a book that's all about capturing the PSYCHOLOGY of the Fey. How to weave a story with them where you DON'T fight them. Situations where simply being in their presence is threatening (like a faerie circle, or eating the food in "Pan's Labyrinth"). Same with Devils - a duel of fiddles instead of a battle. Additionally, I'd love to see things on DEALS with faeries or devils.

A Fey-focused Book ala Open Grave and Draconomicon.

Vinereach. A book dedicated to adventuring and campaigns in jungles and tropical islands (similar to Sandstorm/Frostburn).

You would think so.

But the rules for Shadowrun are rather dense. With a lot of modifiers, a need to have the GM screen just to run the silly thing, and a lot of gear and whatnot that can get confusing. It is definitely a setting that is not nice to casual gamers.

I wish I could be more specific, but at the moment all I can say is the Shadowrun folks are working on ways to get different kinds of gamers involved in Shadowrun. Keep hope alive!

I'll add my vote to the compiled Mystara setting... updated to 4e in my version.

Also add a vote to updated early edition modules Keep on the Borderlands, Secret of Saltmarsh etc..

4e Planescape ohhh yeah...

and finally add my wish for quality AP's and modules from 3PP (looking at you Paizo)..... (technically not an impossibility)

Geez. I wish you could be more specific, too.

I've been re-reading Corporate Enclaves lately, and keep finding myself wishing I could run it. But I know my group, and they wouldn't "grok" it. I would *love* to see a much more casual version of Shadowrun.

Ideally, something like the BECMI system (from D&D) would be perfect. Shadowrun "basic" would introduce the core rules, a few corporations, a very basic history... and each subsequent book would introduce a bit more - gangs, smugglers, drug dealers, data havens, and of course rules. Until finally, you'd end up with something like the finished product.

One of these days, I'm going to bite the bullet and play Shadowrun 4E. It's such an interesting system, and I love how it's presented. There are a lot of neat options, and I know it could be a lot of fun. But if a simpler Shadowrun is around the corner, I'd love it.

Greyhawk 4E Campaign Setting.

Greyhawk 4E Player's Guide.

Greyhawk "Wars" and "From The Ashes" 4E Sourcebooks.

1E modules updated for 4E without unnecessary changes.
