[D&D 4e] IG's "The Witchlight Strand"

[sblock=Theroc]Not that one point of damage matters, but you character sheet is showing your melee basic attack damage as 1d12+3, not +4. Which is correct?[/sblock]

[sblock=Correction for me]
I think it'd be the +4 since Sahyr has 18 strength, which is a +4 modifier. I'll have to look over my character sheet again for corrections. Apologies there, IG.

Edit: I think I figured out the issue. That PDF is of the original draft, not the second draft. No one made a PDF printout of the second draft, so I could not make one(since I have no DDI sub)[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Damn, you guys are hot with some OA's!

I updated the original post with the updated information. H is dead, so he didn't hit or push Sahyr. S still climbed over the ship and grabbed him with the garrote, but he's still conscious. Since Sahyr is still live, S never dropped him and never charged Jude.

So, H's 12 points of damage to Sahry never happened, and S's 11 points of damage to Jude never happened.[/sblock]

(in prep for after Jude I think - I am confused about where we are now.)

Druthruss goes from fully fit to wiped out and then back to fully fit again. From the stars in his eyes he sees Sahyr rip up a gobbo and then project the healing into him. A new experience for him and a new found respect for the big guy. From a feeling of dispair to a feeling of tip top health his psycological state is healed too. With these guys we just cant lose !

Druthruss grabs his axe and gets up. "A dwarf knocked down by these pathetic scum ! Theres some payin back to be doing". Hes going to chage in to S at K9 or else J8 and see how well S can hold onto Sahyr with an axe sticking out between his shoulder blades.

(Let me know if thats ok or whether hitting someone from behind who is holding someone is OA or bonus etc)

With the spellcaster down, the great cat that is Aridha whirls around and charges at the bugbear that's holding Sahyr! With a roar she pounces on him from behind and digs her claws in, twisting her body to yank him away from his captive!

(Pounce! 1d20+7 = 17, includes +2 for flanking and +1 for charging, versus Reflex. Does 1d8+4 damage, which rolls to 7. Also lets Aridha slide the bugbear 1 sq...which she does to a square away from Sahyr...which should break the grab unless the bugbear has Reach 1 or more.)

Roll Lookup

Jude moves back towards his allies, noting that Sahyr in particular was in trouble. Aridha beats him there and pounces on the bugbear, tearing him away from their ally. Jude moves next to the now open goblinoid and slashes it with his large blade, following the blow up with a slam of his shield that threatens to send the foe into the river.

*Assuming that Aridha slides the bugbear to J8, if not I'll post an alternative
Move: To J9 (F9 ->G9->H10->I10->J9) to avoid OA's
Standard: Tide of Iron on bugbear:vs ac; dmg (1d20 8=21, 1d10 4=11) likely hits for 11 damage and push bugbear to J7 off boat and takes its spot in J9.
Free: Mark bugbear

If bugbear not there, please switch target to W1, moving to I9 instead of J9

[sblock=stats]
HP: 13/28
AC: 19; F/R/W: 17/15/13
AP: 0
Used: Passing Attack
Remaining: Second Wind; Villian's Menace[/sblock]

Taking great satisfaction in seeing the Gobbo caster hit the deck with a nice thud, Vatan spies Sahyr with a previously unnoticed gobbo behind him. He rushes around the mast in order to come at the new gobbo from the side but sees both Jude and the big cat converging on the newcomer. Vatan will move to either K,J or I9 depending on what is open and attack either the big gobbo or the now spearless one. Rolls below. Who he attacks depends on what the situation is when it is his turn. If he can get Combat Advantage on the big gobbo he will attack him, otherwise it is against the spearless one.

OOC - what bonuses or penalties for attacking someone in a grapple?

Sahyr howls in unadulterated joy as he cuts down the caster along with his allies, exulting in Kord's glorious carnage before he finds himself snarling like a whipped dog, a cord choking off the air from his lungs. Enraged the Shifter begins to change, his form shifting even as the beast is torn from him, he becomes a beast. Whirling on his antagonist, he snaps briefly a hand waving towards Jude as he felt his wounds regenerating, before the Shifter pounced upon the cowardly wretch who dared cross him with dishonorable combat.

[sblock=Actions]
Minor: Longtooth Shifting
Minor: Healing Word on Jude (should I roll the 1d6 or will you, IG?)
Standard: If the enemy is withing Range; Healing Strike and Sahyr will spend a surge. (Don't wanna roll it yet as with my luck I'll roll good and it won't get used, rofl. Lemme know if I need to roll it, IG.)[/sblock]
