I didn't realize this TV show was based on a Comic Book till I saw the DC Emblem at the end. My review for this show can be summed up in a single word. Fun.

Question: Was the guy playing Guerroro the same guy who played Rorschach?

Christopher Chance has been around for almost four decades, as Human Target began in the early 70's as a back-up feature in Superman's Action Comics and later graduated to it's own short-lived title. The Vertigo version was relaunched in the early 90's right around the previous time they tried this as a televison series. I think that Boston Legal's Mark Valley is perfect in the role.

Valley does fit perfectly in the role. I like him more and more nowadays.

You know, i'm almost sad that the TV show doesn't take place in a DC setting, but I can't see a show like this actually working in a world that has real super heroes running around.

Haven't seen the show yet, but it's offered on Hulu, so I hope to. I am somewhat concerned that a Vertigo comic book was made that could have influenced the show. Typically, Vertigo takes a hum-drum 70's leftover character and then makes them "edgy" by turning them in transexual sheepophiles and what-not.

That was entertaining. I've never read the comic so I had no idea really what to expect. The actors did a good job and there are plenty of interesting characters.

I'm amazed that nobody has yet commented on Caprica/Six being in the Pilot or that last minute Cameo by whats his name...Danny Glover.

Oh look, some chick who was on some sci-fi show guest-starred in this episode!

Happy? ;)

Now, did I miss something or did Chance just leave the poison drink on the table for some other guy to drink? Wotta tool.

Btw, I notice that's it's just "Human Target", not "THE Human Target". That lack of an article is somehow mildly off-putting.
