-''Distract him, guys, distract him!'' shouts Hadrak as he seeks an opening to lanch his most powerful spell.
Incarnation chews a low curse as his magic is ignored by the beast. Its regeneration was troubling; they had to find a way to counter it. The warlock quickly tried to determine what if anything he knew. But he soon turned to the dwarf beside him.
Hide then attack. I shall distract it. May Fate realize your moment. The warlock then channeled a stream of dark energy at the beast, attempting to disorient it, before ducking down again to hide.
[sblock=OOC]Not sure if another Arcana check is needed after the one I already rolled to see if he knows if anything stops the regen, but here it is:
21.
**You think this has something to do with the external source of power its pulsing with.**
EB Misses. Then try to hide:
16 (unlikely, but better than 5).[/sblock]
Raiyek, git to mi flank! Rurdev, git in position across da Warden. Box'em in. Keep him distracted so da Hadrak can break him. Din crash upon him wit yur steel!
Dane shakes off the blow and tries to focus on dodging the next blow. You are da rock in da storm.
[sblock=Actions]
Standard= Aid Hadrak's attack. +2 to hit Forge-brother. Make'em cry. [/sblock]
Rurdev turns his mount towards the demon, coming up on it opposite the warden. His mount kicks out at the demon, but can't hurt it through it's infernal hide. The shifter distracts the demon waving his deadly axes around while he waits for his allies to strike a mightly blow.
[sblock=Actions]
Free: command horse for move action to CD/01
Move: shift with horse to right DE/01(activates boots of fencing master)
Free: command horse to kick:
horse kick demon (1d20+8=23, 1d6+5=11) as expected...
Standard: Aid another on Hadrak's attack:
aid another for hadrak vs demon (1d20+12=32)...of course I crit this one....+2 to hadrak's next attack
Immediate Reaction: Snarling wolf stance free attack

Georg hears Incantation and whispers
Perhaps I know this thing. He shouts
HYAA! and spurs his horse around the demon, as he goes he whispers an incantation. A ball of flame erupts behind the demon and it rolls at the beast. Searing flames linger as Georg directs the ball with his mind. The beast is clearly singed, but hardly pays any mind to the flaming ball.
[sblock=OOC] Knowledge (Aracana) for monster knowledge
1d20+11=31 (bah crit)
Move: Ride to bb3/aa2
Standard: Flaming Sphere at E0
1d20+9=24 (vs Reflex, looking for a hit) for 2d6+6=12 damage, but the auto
1d4+6=9 will help offset the regeneration
**Hits! However Rurdev is in E0. I assume this was a mistake. I'll place it in G0 for now.**
Minor: Maintain Sphere
[/sblock]
[sblock=Arcana 31]The creature is under the effects of a powerful ritual, temporarily increasing its power. You could wait it out, but it will last at least several minutes, possibly several hours.
There may be a way to counter it, but it would take a large number of people working in unison. You feel like you've heard of it being succesfully done by special trained Jadeite soldiers before.[/sblock]
Raiyek nods to Dane's request. He bounds into melee with the monstrous demon, yelling
"Palladys!" in a most distracting way as well as laying his compulsive challenge on the brute. The demon now turns its head full towards Raiyek.
[sblock=OOC]Move: to I3
Minor: DC on demon
Standard: Aid another for Hadrak.[/sblock]
The warden slides his horse down the beast flank, creating a wall with the other fighters and the magical flaming sphere he tries to sense the weakest point, indicating it to the cleric with his lightning blade.
"This had better work."
[sblock=ooc]The Warden shifts to G4/H5 then aids[/sblock]
Hadrak waits for the Warden to make his move and then, at the moment of optimum confusion, Hadrak cast his spell. A tiny bolt of light flies toward the demon and metaphorical shattering of glass is felt.
[sblock=Roll the bones]
Only the Warden to act and he's DM controlled. I Delay after the Warden. Maybe he aids, maybe he doesn't.
Standard:
Iron to Glass vs Reflex (1d20+11+6=24)
Move: to K8, exiting through the front of the Cart
Assuming the warden doesn't aid, that's the roll.
**oh it hits**
I don't know if that hits. I am hopeful though. It feels like a brute so their reflex tend to be 3 to 5 points lower than both AC and Fortitude. Fingers crossed. At any rate, I am almost cerain a 18 would have been a miss because a 23 missed AC and I don't see a 6 or more gap between AC and reflex! So if it hits, that will have been really well invested aid anothers!
PS: I like that my status is 'probably not hidden!'
**thank you**
Hit: Target gets -4 to his
melee attacks damage rolls. After every hit **from the demon**, the penalty increases by -2 until a maximum of -10. Until the end of encounter
**ouch**

Georg's flaming sphere lashes out at the demon but its flesh is already healing over. The Demon screams and the sound resounds in the minds of those in melee with the creature, distracting them. He then slams his fists into the armored elf with shocking speed, hitting him four times in succession. Wether it be Palladys' will or some other force the elf hardly feels the blows.
[sblock=ooc]
The demon takes 9 fire damage.
The demon regenerates 28 hp.
Minor: The demon uses Tormenting Howl. Rurdev, Dane, Raiyek and the Warden take -2 to attack rolls TENT
Double Attack vs Raiyek:
Both attacks Miss* Modifiers are not listed correctly in the roll
Action Point: Again:
Hits once for 8 damage. Resistance included.[/sblock]

The thick black lines on the sides of the wagon represent the top cover on the wagon. They block Line of Sight.
Moving in and out of the wagon cost an additional square of movement.
You can also move the wagon, by getting in and driving it.
The boulders are about ten feet in height. Anyone who is not huge, and is adjacent to the rock can use it for superior cover. Anyone who is huge, and adjacent to the rock still receives cover.
You can climb a rock with an athletics check of some sort.
