Natural Lyncanthrope as a Monk

Hi, this is my first time on there forums and this is kind of a reply to the thread

But I was wondering. If at a certain level a monk becomes immune to all diseases magical or not. Wouldn't their lycanthrope be cured?

Well according to both D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder, you need a player of at least 12th to cast "remove disease" or "heal". And both descriptions from both books state they remove diseases, not curses.

Although house rules can dictate its a curse an not a disease, therefore not cured by any means but remove curse or wolfsbane.

It would still be considered a disease wouldn't it?

You can also cure it via Remove Curse or Break Enchantment.

Only afflicted lycanthropes can be cured of lycanthropy.

So it is moot as to whether someone is immune to diseases or not in the case of a natural lycanthrope.

Just felt like pointing this out:

Purity of Body (Ex)

At 5th level, a monk gains immunity to all diseases except for supernatural and magical diseases.

Lycanthropy is a supernatural or magical disease.

Isn't there an alignment conflict between the Chaotic werewolf and the Lawful monk? You might do better with a werebear (or Kung-fu Panda) or wererat.
