Grackle says "Ummmmmm..........what? No, Grackle can't do that. Never figured out how t' de-magickize magicky stuff. Why would Grackle want to make magic shinies less magicky? Only stupid people make magic shinies do bad things. Magic shinies should be good. Like other shinies. Too bad shiny doors aren't so good as real shiny doors, but they're still shiny enough for Grackle's house if we can get them off of here and carry them home.........you'd carry shiny doors back home for Grackle, wouldn't you.......?" The gnome gazes up at Logan with his Sad Puppy-Dog-Eyes Pouty-Lips Begging Face #5, optimized for maximum cuteness and friendliness.

A minute later, Grackle is distracted again, by the key Zorn dropped. "Does we need key? Not look gross to Grackle......" He picks it up and then hops back suddenly, throwing the key downstairs as he backs away, behind the rest of the group again. "Ugh! Bad magic-key-thing! Bad! Reminds Grackle of big caterpillery bug-snack that made Grackle sick for weeks! ......I thought it might taste better after a few days in pickle juice, but that just made it worse......"

After a long pause, Grackle concludes "..................Okay, now Grackle starting to unnerstand why he'd wanna de-magickize magicky stuffs. Bad stupid people built this place with shiny doors 'n' stuff t' make Grackle mad!"

[sblock=ooc]Sorry, didn't notice the update a few days ago...... Grackle can't possibly make a DC 30 Spot check, even with that +5 bonus (his mod is normally -1.....).

There is a hemispherical indention about three feet up where the doors meet. There is a small hole in that indentation that could be a key hole.
