There's a guard stationed on watch platforms at the west side and around the central area of the camp (just to the east of the fire pit). A couple of bandit-looking men are hanging out around the logs just next to the river, and a trio are next to the fire, roasting a boar on the spit.

The woman sitting with the men must be Kressle, the only female here, and the only one wielding anything resembling a high-quality weapon.

OOC: Do you mean a watch platform just to the west of the fire? How high are the watch platforms?

A wooden platform 20 feet off the ground gives a great view of the campsite and the trail to the west. A rope ladder allows access. [/sblock]

The druid has been keeping careful notice of what largish (size Medium, Small or Large) animals he has seen in the forest, especially if he saw any near a clearing.

			I think that we should try to draw the ground troops away from the platform shooters. The thickest woods are to the southwest. Can we attack from that direction and then step back? We should capture the bearedless young one.

OOC: I assume it is evening? So we are going to attack this camp based on Happs' word? I wonder if he has a grudge against these?

Ezmerelda 'hmphs' as she looks the situation over.

"I can get on that platform easy enough," she remarks quietly, "But it won't be quiet and it won't be hard to see. What it WILL be is fast. Fact is though, even if we -are- quiet, at best it'll just give us first strike The rest will come running the second swords cross."

She squinted. "What we need is a chokepoint...something that'll limit how many can come at us at a time..."
