that actually made my day

if my party was trapped under the hat and I could teleport, well...first off, what was the point of the hat? second, id probably teleport behind the thing while invisable then hit it with either maximized lightening bolt or disintegrate and hope he fails (or she fails...it could happen)

so this is the situation?
the wizard is behind the corner
the rest of the party is under the adamantine cone hat
the area is antimagic because of the beholder in the hall

this sounds like an epic battle

I'm glad I could be of service.

Well, in certain cases, say, when your party is in a hallway facing down a Beholder with its antimagic cone active and you can't escape and may very well all die, a retreat would be highly useful, no?

Flatus....are you having a TV party tonight?
(yeah...i know whats up)

and what im trying to say is like....its a force multiplyer, but if the party sucks, its not helping...ya dig?

better would be exponents

party^2 (with a wizard)

but if party= 0 then party with wizard= 0
if party =1 then...yep

but a wizard came make things awsome if the party is good enough

...seriously, i think im going to carry around a shrunken adamantine cone hat now...all the players are going to look at me and ask if my character came from an asylum, but one day im going to use it and be like "bam! thats how I roll!"

then all the maidens in the tavern will know my name

---that was a bad joke---

I'm a huge fan of the Wizard or Sorcerer who has high Dexterity with ranks in Balance and then cleverly quick-casts Grease to down his opponent and a fire spell to light the Grease, cook 'em up, and serve 'em hot!
