[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

[SBLOCK=OOC]No problem. I was just pointing that the three of them had pointed they wanted to stick together. So they might say no for that reason.[/SBLOCK]

If they'd rather wait that's fine, dimsdale and ShadRS can join us. I've played with dimsdale previously, he's a blast, and it's always nice to meet new people as well. No matter what, I'll be happy, and the adventure will continue. Let's extend the invitations and see where it goes.

"Ok. As soon as the skunk gets back and makes its report, we can get cracking. I'd just as soon get this over with quickly, before any guards show up.' Sheeva says as she looks around at the team.

Before Loki can return, a burst of commotion happens near the front "entrance" of the camp. An orc is bound and being carried/dragged by a trio of heavily armored cultists, their faces showing cuts, scrapes and bruises, the orc sporting even more.

You overhear them saying "This one's going to the Voice, he'll be happy for this execution" one of them says, holding the struggling orc tight.

Valahad leans in as they drag the semi-conscious humanoid up the stairs, "Listen, this may be our chance. I'll create a distraction down here to draw the guards away, and you rush the temple. Any enemy of theirs is a friend of ours. Take down the leaders and my sacrifice will be worth it" the paladin calls out, moving quickly away from the group and throwing off his cultists outfit once he's a distance away. He proudly displays his holy symbol, shouting "By the light of il-Yannah, I have come to cleanse this place" and drawing his blade.

As predicted the cultists look to swarm him, en masse, the guards abandoning the stairs and moving to engage. The stairs look open...

[MENTION=79956]dimsdale[/MENTION] - there you go tough guy ;)

Ok, so just need a marching order up the stairs (if you so choose) & roll init while you're doing it.[/sblock]

Rumbum struggles to stay on his feet. "ah haaaa ha...voice?...who is voice." Rumbum's arm slips free just enough to punch the guard to his right in the face. The response by the other two is swift and painful as the orc almost blacks out. After regaining his bearings and balance Rumbum grins I let you take me to see who voice guy is, then I kill all of you ah haaa ha!

[sblock=OOC]How far away are the stairs? And the Orc and three guards are still on their way up and in, correct?[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]
The stairs are a couple hundred feet away, so about 3-4 rounds of full running. The other guards and the prisoner will likely be inside the mountain by the time you can reach them [/sblock]

"Off we go then! Let's not waste the chance Val's giving us . . ."

Feall heads at full speed toward the steps.

[sblock=OOC]I'll go wherever you all wish in the marching order.[/sblock]

Loki will wonder how I got in before him. Ha! Pok hikes up his cultist robe and begins moving after the group, falling behind due to his short legs. He shakes his head at Valahad, the little gnome couldn't ever imagine making himself so visible. I'll have to remember how different kalashtar are. The diminutive Sivis thought to himself, as the second kalashtar he'd gotten to know in battle, disappeared as oddly as the first kalashtar had disappeared.

OOC: Pok at the back of the group constantly seeking cover, and keeping up with the party. So if everyone runs, he runs, if there are walkers, he walks. Trying to find cover before rolling init to gain stealth.
