Al-Qadim would be sweet, even sweeter as a low-combat/high-roleplay setting (with possible crunch support via social "powers").

Planescape, of course, which would be well-served by actual plots.

I have a special place in my heart for Spelljammer, and I think the 4e rules would adapt well to space-swashbuckling (one condition, though: drop the whole "campaign-setting unification" premise, please).

Kara-Tur because oriental adventures are, and will forever be, cool.

New setting. I'm tired of retreads.

The funny thing is, I'm on the complete opposite end of the scale...

Since 3E came out, there hasn't been a single new setting for D&D that has appealed to me. I'd much rather have a well done retread of something I know I'm already interested in.

@Shroomy: gnoll pimps? really.

And who else voted for Urban Arcana? Come on, out with you.

I sorta feel like it would be absurd to launch a completely new setting. What might they want to achieve they feel they can't do with existing material? "New" isn't, it doesn't seem to me, any kind of virtue.

While I'd be in favor of a few other, more obscure, settings (Mahasarpha and Maztica, particularly), my greatest hopes and more likely to someday happen are Spelljammer, Kara-Tur, and Al-Qadim.

I'm also a fan of Planescape, but you can pretty much do that now with access to the 2e material, although some faction mechanics (like Dark Sun themes) would be nice.

I think they need to have another contest like they did with Eberron. Let the players come up with a new setting.

Yeah. Just look how well that turned out. /snark

Oh, sorry. Where are my manners? I sometimes forget that a lot of people actually like Eberron. I guess magepunk just isn't my thing.

Just some friendly ribbing. Eberron fans, don't take it personally. :)
