What are the greatest published adventures you've run?

Top mods for me (in order):

S1-Tomb of Horrors
I6-Ravenloft
COR1-6: The Forbidden Choice (Living Greyhawk module)
B2-Keep on the Borderlands
S3-Expedition to the Barrier Peaks

Of course, with Ravenloft, I think I'm going to say I have a love-hate relationship with the module. Loved it as a player and as a DM, but hate it in the fact it was so good I just had to get the Ravenloft:Realm of Terror boxed set, which was just so good I just had to get everything Ravenloft... So um, yeah, thanks Teri, for running that for us 20 years ago in college !?!?!

NeMoren's Vault

As for Fighters Challenge, I did run it and it was pretty good.

Not sure it was list worthy, but pretty good.

EDIT: How many have run all three bits of the G series. I am seeing a lot of G1, not so much the others.

I ran all three G modules back when I was a teenager (I think the year would have been 1986). I enjoyed it at the time, but in retrospect it was pretty unsophisticated GMing by me and play by my players.

I've got a feeling I should have excluded those you've played rather than run, because it's very hard to tell how much was the DM and how much was the module.

I mean, with the right DM, you might even like Terrible Trouble at Tragidore...

Oh well, too late now! :)

Cheers!

I've run G1 stock and G3 heavily modified (more like I borrowed the map and occupants and shoehorned them into a homebrew adventure), but never G2. Oddly enough, I've played G2 stock and also a highly-modified G3 but never G1.

I suspect the reason G1 gets run more often is that it doesn't require an exotic locale. G2 wants a glacier or icefield. G3 wants a volcano. Not every DM's setting has glaciers and-or volcanoes close to hand. But G1 just wants a bit of forest, and everybody has those.

Thinking about it, even in my current campaign I've got definite future plans for G1 and vague ideas for G3 but haven't given any thought to G2 mostly because there's no ice anywhere near where the parties have been active. What I'll probably have to end up doing is change G2 from Frost Giant based to Stone Giant based; which is a shame, as I likes me some Frosties... :)

EDIT: p.s. MerricB a couple of us have mentioned Rahasia but I don't see it anywhere on your list yet...
EDIT: p.p.s. Ditto for Night's Dark Terror, on behalf of others who are most certainly not me!

DA2 Temple of the Frog

I like all the Blackmoor DA series.

Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun

and it's cheesy, but I start most campaigns with a version of it..

Castle Caldwell.

The cool remorhaz picture on the back cover of 4e's MM2 has made me want to run G2 for 4e (probably set either on the Abyss or in the Feywild). But my PCs aren't quite at that level yet.
