Even Newer(er) Tavern Thread: The Hanged Man

After some patrons point him towards the fire, Dante walks over to it, staring down at the devil lizard that, having finished off his boot now lays on his back, club-like feet kicking in the air as it snorts and chews in its sleep.

He shakes his head, then takes a seat in a shadowy corner table, detaching the kamas from the chair wrapped around his body and sharpening them slowly, always keeping an eye on the rest of the tavern as if half-expecting to be attacked at any moment.

OOC: Dante's slightly out of the range(almost 1k xp into 8th level) so he'll sit this one out I guess, unless the group can't put together enough players in the range.

ooc: didn't i say lvl 5-7 with one level 8? That's what I meant. Get on over there Dante and talk to the lass. Some of these encounters are tough. I'd hate to see everyone die the first encouter

"Lady, I am Skalisss, I would hear of Lord Weinfurter'sss needsss".

Virgil suddenly snorts awake, rolls onto his feet, coughs up some black smoke, then shambles through the tavern again.

Dante watches the devil lizard warily as it walks over to the woman, stares at her back blearily for a moment, then rips a large chunk from her cloak, plops down, and begins chewing.

Before the bodyguard can stab Virgil, Dante dashes through the Hanged Man, putting a calming hand on the man's arm.

"Pardon the devil lizard, this one never knows exactly what it will do. This one thinks it means the devil lizard likes the woman. Perhaps this is a sign. What is this reward spoken of earlier?"

Randall asks Max. Is your friend going to join us? before turning to leave.

The half-giant looks over the groups, shaking his head at the various people here, none seemed able to help the barbarian. Sigarr downed his mead and considered that strange eladrin he ran across on his journey to Daunton. He had mentioned to stop by and see him if Sigarr was ever in Daunton, it might be worth a trip out of the city.

Sigarr stands up, nods to the bartender and walks out of the bar, ducking underneath the doorway to fit, and brushing past the group gathered at the door, "Good Luck" he says as he passes.

Jonathan follows Randall out of the tavern without a word.

Max gathers his stuff heads towards the door. At the door he stops briefly to tighten a strap on his armor, then steps out with the rest of the group to help Randall.
