[sblock=OOC]Yay~ It seems that Kruor is a decent success! On another note: I don't intend for Kruor to be Warforged. Mechanically he would be identical, but I would prefer if people do not call him that. Fluff-wise, I can make it work. Lastly, he was built by the vampires, not twisted. But it's all good.
*refrains from roleplaying to let other's respond*[/sblock]

None of that is known to Earth though.

His eyes start glowing red and he jerks his arm back, which he then found out was a horrible mistake. Blood and bits of flayed skin arced through the air and the waitress awakens, shrieking in pain.

Blood is still falling as Phoenix stands, body igniting in real flame, sending bystanders scrambling to get away and causing the floor rushes and table edges to smolder.

"You, construct - whatever you are - if you can't control yourself and start harming innocents, you'll find yourself more sorry than you can imagine." Her good eye literally blazes and a tiny burning white phoenix ignites in her open hand.

"Some of us might get work on contract to destroy the scum that infests this world, but I've been known to do probono work from time to time if I find a particularly repugnant piece of filth. You might find this tavern extremely hazardous if you cross that thin line..."

OOC: treex, While creepy and suitable for your character, I'd advice against going too far in the tavern. There isn't generally PvP here, but some people would find it hard to justify their character sitting by if too much goes on.

OOC: Indeed. Especially with that squeamish section; I don't think any of my characters would stand by idle while Kruor casually disfigured a woman. Trying it in a campaign of mine would probably get you lynched (of course, I'd give you a chance to play out an escape / fight, hehe).

I guess there's not much I can do in the tavern, but I would be fine with judges playing up the law if anything got out of hand.

Toeto tries to ignore the weird metal-armored person and his insanity. She fails, letting loose a belligerent "Hiss..." in his direction.

Nevermind dear! We'll kill anything that gets in your way so you can gather your herbs and spices and artifacts or whatever you need to heal your tribe! Illness is never fun, unless you are chucking cow corpses at a besieged castle with a catapult! she says laughing.
Toeto laughs uncomfortably. "Yes, heh... I, um, haven't heard that joke before. I'm grateful for your help. Oh, you asked about pay, yes? We aren't very r-rich, but there must be some treasures the tribe has that you can take. Maybe in the Chief's war chest?... It will be fair, I-I promise."

Jarel-karn sheets his sword and turns around and look at the lady. "If you need anotehr sword, I wouldn't complain to leave this place. I need fresh air."
Toeto bares a toothy lizardfolk grin at Jarel-karn. It looks a little creepy, actually. "Great! Happy to have you along."

She then waves at drow on the far end of the room, returning his gesture. "Were you coming as well, s-sir?"

"Okay, that makes seven. The Bloated Whale leaves at dawn tomorrow, to a place called Cay Harbor. We'll meet at docks then. It's a, uh, long trip, so you might want to pack for awhile."

OOC: So it's:
Eithal - Level 8 Goliath Warden
Beatrice - Level 8 Human Blackguard|Warlord
"Harold" - Level 7/8 Kenku Rogue|Sorcerer
Yishim - Level 8 Human Wizard
Jarel-karn - Level 10 Genasi Swordmage
Damen - Level 9 Drow Thief

Damen makes his way from the back. A boat right, you say? Haven't been to sea since I earned that bounty in Bacarte. Of course, Mother paid that off... or had the offending party removed. Never can be sure.

He turns to Phoenix and makes a bow. It seems our ways part, dear Lady. Save a piece for me if you kill that old man. With that, he exits, humming a she shanty, edging uneasily around the wolf-beast. As he does so, you can here him yell, Miss! I have a balm for that!

The Cursed One watches frozen with horror as the monstrous fingers of the hideous construct sink into the woman's soft flesh. As she runs off bleeding he jumps to his feet moments after and runs out of the bar to follow and assist her reach a physician or a temple, whichever is closest.

Some hours later he returns, hands covered in dried blood, anger burning in his eyes.
He stands before the constructs table and roars:

"Monster we shall call you Kruor!!! For a name such as one a person carries you do not deserve. Monster we will call you, til some glimmer of humanity you have found!! We curse you with a burden I know well. You shall not be worthy of a name until you have earned it! Til you have learnt to control your evil fingers! And if you can not, then banish yourself far away from humanity til the mechanism that beats blood through your body stops dead! Only the Star knows what monstrous kind of pity stays my hand from ending your torturous mockery of life... Return to your vampires if these words are too hard for you to hear, for you will find no love here, not even in this pit. "

With that he spins on his heels and goes to take a place at the bar for a drink, this time something a little stronger.

OOC: As a player I don't mind having difficult relationships with fellow PCs, so don't take the Cursed One's anger personally. He has been boling since he saw a Shade casually slay someone before him. He was too cowardly to say something about that which he hates to think about himself, causing his anger to heighten.

As a member of this Living World community I will say it feels a bit tricky dealing with undead PCs. It feels like the goings on are very common place, as though if I were to go outside to do my shopping I might be waiting in line with a dwarf, a werewolf and a zombie.

I don't know where I'm going with this ... maybe I need to readjust my vision of the fantasy world that we are playing in to something more like a fantasy version of Star Wars.

Anyway, hehe, it will be fascinating to see how you try and get Kruor into an adventuring party :)

"What'd that guy do to deserve a death so fancy it has it's own special name? Maybe I should come up with special names for my... talents, but there's only so many ways you can say burn." She smiles and insubstantial flames dance around her for a moment before subsiding.
Dox shrugs so slightly one questions the movement. It was the poison used. The creature was supposed to have died, and did. Mostly. The Order deemed to put it to rest, to give it peace.
She leans back casually and speaking to both at once says, "I don't suppose you've heard of someone named Rhagast, have you?"

Her voice seems calm, but a deep red halo surrounds her form, an angry red glow like the embers of a hell forge.
Dox shakes his head, again only slightly. It is not a name known to me. It can be added to the list.
Giving a too-toothy smile, Kamotz shakes his head, and a large cloud of bone dust puffs from his fur. Mind if we roll in that ash a bit? Smells fresh.
Dox turns slightly, and notes the sigils on the holy warrior. Dox nods in recognition of the position, if not the person, but says nothing about the ash pile. It was dust now, not worthy of further comment.
Blood is still falling as Phoenix stands, body igniting in real flame, sending bystanders scrambling to get away and causing the floor rushes and table edges to smolder.

"Some of us might get work on contract to destroy the scum that infests this world, but I've been known to do probono work from time to time if I find a particularly repugnant piece of filth. You might find this tavern extremely hazardous if you cross that thin line..."
As Phoenix makes her opinion clear on the matter, everyone forgets about Dox. If the construction's shadow seemed grow, no one thought anything of it.

OOC: Well, I fully intended to run off the help her. I just wanted to wait for you to react :< Hmm, I think Kruor will probably run off into a corner to cry...or something to that extent. I'm aware that all this hate is (hopefully :P) IC reaction. Now my choices include uhm, running off, malfunctioning and "shutting down" or...uh...apologizing?

"Me sorry! It was eks...eksid...accideeent..." Kruor's eyes flashing yellow, then red. "IT NOT ME WANT, ME NO WANT THIS."
Then grey "It just...it just me not used to body. When me given choice, when me given...mind, me like new. New soul, no memory but of death. Before me given choice, me had no choice. But killing done by something else, it evil but...smarter."

Kruor tilts his head down "Me know me not smart...maybe better if me give up choice..."

"But then it me who choose no kill good, kind people. Many people peaceful, but the evil kill them many. It make me sad, so me run."

Noticeably, the robot has stopped referring to himself as Kruor. "If me no can have name, then me earn it. Me show me no bad. Me just...stupid."

And with that, the robot sits back down. This time The Cursed One no longer his companion, yet the drink before was still there, only it's contents were now much more...red. Kruor looked at it longingly, yet dares not move his arms anymore, which he has sheathed back under his cloak.

OOC: I suppose that Kruor will just sit there, and wait till his ears pick something up. And go for it, to prove his worth (all the better if The Cursed One is with him ^^)
EDIT:Wait, I have no ears.
EDIT2: Funny how Kruor was going to drink from the woman serving him his drink.
