I'd be fine adding frightful presence (though with boosted HD thresholds). How does the illusion look?

I think it should. I would imagine that those beings that know of the draeden will actually see its ftrue form. After all, what could possibly be scarier than being confronted by one?

I'd not give it Frightful Presence. If they've overcome its "Forbidding Appearance" shouldn't they have defeated their fear of the creature?
