HRUMPH! The kiddies don't want to stand around stare at no one's pole!

"So to speak..." mutters Tarkus. His mouth quirks - despite his stern demeanor, he's no stranger to barracks humour.

He nurses his drink as the tavern begins emptying, and wonders whether he should follow. He has felt for a while that he was waiting for a sign from Juna, but nothing seems to be coming. Perhaps he should be seeking a sign, rather than waiting for his task to drop into his lap. He aches to be out in the world righting wrongs; he's growing rusty sitting in this tavern. And bringing joy does seem like a worthwhile (if simple) task - and non-violent, so unlikely to trigger his curse. How can it go wrong?

He impulsively swallows the rest of his wine and heads towards the door with determination.

Marrgash finishes starts composing a list of useful trinkets he finishes his drink, before leaving for a little quick shopping and then head to the docks.

Merri doesn't even make it to the bar.

"Someone needs help? Well, that's what I came here for!"

With a wave to the bouncer, she hurries out the door for the docks. She wraps her heavy traveling cloak around her before leaving the bar.

As Valkin is conferring with the adventurer's in the tavern he suddenly smacks himself across the forehead.

"Blast! I totally forgot that this year, I was planning a bigger celebration than ever! I needed TWO ships to transport everything back to Daunton. I have a lot of work that needs to be done and I can use all the help I can get. So those of you that have expressed interest, meet me at the dock in two hours. I have to see what I can do to hire another ship to take ye all to Solstice."

OOC: Sounds like that high level group could use a defender. I have my level 7 warden in the tavern, but been absent for some time now, if you would have me in, I'll be glad to join.

The group has 2 paladins, but I wouldn't object to you joining since we've only done role-playing so far. It would add a seventh to their group, which is my limit. But I'll also ask, Darksteed, MetaVoid, Neurotic, Rapida, JoeNotCharles, and stonegod. If any of the existing players feel there is an issue adding a seventh to your group, please PM me.

Well, they may have some trouble coordinating their marks, but as far as I'm concerned, go ahead. More meat shields between me and the enemies :)

"I will aid you in clebrating the solstice. It is part of the Earth's cycles, new life and old life, death and birth." Earth comments, as his mound shape turns into the guardian or rock and dirt. the small plant in his back swings back and forth, fragile, like a crystal figurine, as the hulk lumbers forward.

Go ahead and role-play here. I'll leave it up to you to figure out how Earth got onto the ship without notice.

You'll also want to check in at this thread.

Lerrick walks into the tavern, scanning for people she knows from her most recent adventure, only to find that they are gone. Hey, where did everyone go? She walks up to the bar. I'll take a drink with fruit in it...without the alcohol please. I'm not old enough to drink that stuff yet.

ooc: lvl 6 cleric (walking hospital) ready for adventure (CS pending...)

ooc: Kruk lvl 11 fighter is currently shopping for new gear, but would gladly participate in an adventure if a high level one should come up any time soon.
