20 - You must multiclass. That isn't so bad in itself, but you can't build a viable character without at least 7 different classes. That many will get you something with the capabilities of a low-level, BECMI fighter.

21 - You don't want to know how many it takes for wizards -- which is a good thing, since not even WotC knows.

1. To speed up combats, all fights are decided by one d20 roll. If you hit, you win.

1.5 To speed up combats, all fights are decided by a called d2 roll (flip). If you call it right you win. *special modifier: all players from Pittsburgh automatically have a -1 to the roll...:p

23 - copper pieces = pennies, silver pieces = nickels, gold pieces = dimes, platinum pieces = quarters. When you get treasure, you can only haul out of the dungeon what you are willing to carry in a bag over the next three days. Those outside the USA must go to an exchange bank to get appropriate change, though the Canadians will probably be able to cheat and use their own currency. :D

26. They release one core class and one core race. Everything else is packaged in one of twenty ddi "base" subscription channels that they errata monthly to make sure you keep subscribing. Want an elven wizard? Subscribe to the Fey channel and the Arcane channel!

27. And that's only for level one content. To purchase material beyond level one, it requires another "level" of ddi subscription per level of content to be unlocked for your "base" subscription content. Want to level up your wizard? "Unlock" level 2 Fey and Arcane channels for one low price!

28. Items are excluded from this and sold as micro-transactions using WotC's new "Mana" online currency to access each item's stats. Want to get a Wand of Magic Missiles? For only 25 Mana, its stats can be yours!

29. All classes are subclasses of Magic-User.
Since you cannot multiclass into your own class, you cannot multiclass at all.

30. There is no dual-classing, either; but there is duel-classing: The loser of each duel has to retrain into a different subclass of Magic-User. This can be painful at the rate of retraining one feature per level.

32 - Remember those old druid rules, where you had to defeat a higher level druid to advance? Those now apply to all classes at all levels, including first. Finally, D&D emulates Traveller, and you can die during character generation.

33 - There are no weapons but polearms. Fortunatley, these come in all sizes, and 57 varieties, 13 of which are usable by haflings and gnomes, including the "wee spear-chukker-glaive-guisarme-lochabar-halberd" which can be thrown.
