Catastrophe!

OOC: WEContact Despite your being unconcious, I feel I should ask - Do you have any objection to me bombarding Ignatz with Grasping Tides? There's probably never going to be six creatures so convieniently clustered ever again.
OOC: I figured I'd use my turn to double move and toss him a healing infusion to get him back on his feet. As long as you don't kill him with the Grasping Tides, a little more damage realistically won't make any difference since the heal would take him back up from 0.

OOC: Ugh, I hate that I have to do this, because I really want to play this fight, but I have to drop out of L4W. You guys are more than capable of running Ignatz. Have fun! :(

OOC: That sucks. Hope everything is OK.

Seeing Ignatz swarmed by the Kruthik, Corragan rushes forward to help. As Ignatz falls to the creatures, Corragan knows he can safely call on the winds and stone to wreak havoc in the area, his ally sheltered by the creatures. He slams his staff to the ground, calling winds and stone to buffet the creatures, before howling with rage, redoubling it's strength.

[sblock=Actions]
Move: Move to T55
Standard: Grasping Tides, centered on Q45

If at least 3 Kruthik survive around Q45: Action Point: Grasping Tides, centered on Q45 again.
If either attack on R44 (Swarm) misses, use Elven Accuracy to reroll the attack.

SUMMARY OF ATTACKS:
vs. P45: Fort 12, 26
vs. P46: Fort 18, 13
vs. Q44: Fort 20, 23
vs. Q46: Fort 23, 9 (auto-miss)
vs. R44: Fort 20, 22 (Elven accuracy if either misses)
vs. R45: Fort 18, 25.

Each hit deals 10 damage and gives me an attack if they try and leave the squares around Q45: +8 vs. Reflex or knock them prone. This may mean 2 attacks vs some of the Kruthik.

As Ignatz falls amongst the wild swarm Boris can't help but wonder with amazement at the barbarians prowess and stupidity. He winces as the druid sends powerful magic in amongst the swarm with devastating effect. As he moves forward he can't help but question whether their brave ally will ever rise again.

"Creatures of dirt! The Sun comes to burn it's light through your head! Fear its fury!"

A stallion made of burning light surges forth from Boris' mouth and gallops towards one of the kruthik, erupting into flames of light as it crashes into the creature, leaving a glowing halo around it that seems to pulse and throb menacingly.

[sblock=Actions] Move to U54 (if possible don't end your turn next to TCO, and let's hope he gets swarmed but lives to tell the tale! :D)
Minor: Curse on Kruthik at R45
Standard: Dire Radiance at Kruthik at R45

Note: If it moves any closer to me on its next turn it will take another 2d6+4 radiant damage (but I don't think the dumb Kruthik should know that :D)

As per what to do about Ignatz (sorry to see you go WEContact: Well if Corrigan didn't finish him off (we'll see what our DM has to say about that), he could survive another round or two before the ongoing damage kills him. If you heal him straight away though, while surrounded, won't the swarm just nail him again? Plus he's weakened, so how effective will he be?

OOC: Medina: Does Corragan have a climb-speed or some other effect that allows him to ignore difficult terrain? All of the squares filled with rocks between you and W53 are difficult terrain, which means it would have taken you a double-move to reach that square.

Please let me know so that I can give you guys an update.

@ everyone else: I'm sorry if Ignatz dropping out is due to my slow post rate as of late. I'm trying to be better about it and give an update as often as possible. After this fight, we'll discuss what you guys want to do.

OOC: I don't htink that was the problem. The impression I got is that he's dropping out of PBP here period, he dropped out of LEB as well (was in a campaign with him over there also)

OOC:
Some things to consider is that he Corragan has a speed of 8 and with an Athletics of +9, so he can automatically jump over 2 squares of difficult terrain, more if he rolls well enough. He'll have to pick a different ending square since it is 8 away and in difficult terrain, so that's 9 move no matter what he does, but he'll definitely end his move in range for a burst 1 in 10.

I would like to know the status of the enemies before I post.
