OOC: Oops, yes, I meant H.M. Don't worry about the combat yet - a bunch of bad rolls by NPCs plus good rolls by the PCs makes things look worse than they are. We also blew several of our best "nova" encounter powers to make that happen.

I've played him recklessly since the start and I haven't yet a chance to kill him. I think he has has rolled naturally twice a natural 20 on a total of 4 death save.

* make a basic attack +1 to hit (due to feat: improved bravura)
or
* make a move action as a free action +1 added to ally's speed for movement (due to feat: improved bravura)

If the AP attack misses, the ally grants CA to all enemies TENT.

The smoke dissipates, but the fire intensifies as the heroes maneuver to gain an advantage.

Sworc continues to cower in the back hallway, just hoping he doesn't lose his merchandise.

The two mob goons outside the store stab Seraphine repeatedly, cutting deeply. One of them blocks the exit, hoping that the fire will do its job, while the other tears down the street, "Help! Citizens under attack from the Government of Rioc Alair! Brutality!" Bystandars turn in Seraphine's direction, eyeing her suspiciously as she stands in the smoking doorway.

The two inside the apothecary are not so successful. Their enemies surround them, and they desperately lash out at Draglin and Gloom, the result is no more than a scratch on Gloom's arm.

Gloom replies to Seraph. "My God? Lauto is not my God, he is just a bastard who laugh at my face and wish me ill." He then look at the blademaster in the door way. "Come one, be a worthy opponent. I'm still trying to find the one who will kill me." He then move toward him and slash at him, pushing him out of the way into the street. "Come on! Kill me, or I'll kill you."
