[Adventure]: Turning the Tide (DM: Dimsdale, Judge ??)

OOC: Not sure how much map has changed with all Eva's damage and Graven's teleport, so I can change my post if needed.


The necromancer slain, Merri's concern over her new traveling companion moves to the front of her mind.

"Don't hit that cute, little kobold, he's a hero!"
While shock is the first thing that crosses Ignus's mind, it is soon followed by a strong sensation of adoration. He is bolstered by the emotion and his wounds seem less hurtful.

Merri then moves toward the nearest zombie and tries to strike it. Her natural dislike for gross undead things wins out and she fails to do more than wave her rapier in its direction.

One hits Graven, another hits Ignus, both for minor wounds. The sound of crackling noise comes from the statue. it appears as if it is starting to freeze as ice crystals appear all around it. Cracks appear everywhere on the statue and increasingly grow in length. Chips of rock fall to the base of the statue. A dreadful moan comes from within.

OOC: I...hadn't actually taken my turn yet for last round. I just used the immediate interrupt during the monster's last turn to prevent some damage to Ignus. (And promptly forgot I still needed to take my turn, sorry).

OOC: Coupla more notes: I had 10 temporary HP last round from using booming blade earlier, so the 5 damage I took would only drop me to 5 temporary HP, still full 40 normal health.

It would also have a -2 to hit him in the first place, if that makes a difference.

OOC: Ugh... sorry to make things confusing. I forgot about the zombie weakness; Eva actually killed Z1 on her turn since she crit it.

EDIT: And she crit Z4 with the color spray too. Wow, Eva really did have a good turn, lol.

OOC: Haha, what a mess. In that case, I would have moved to attack whichever non-minion zombie was closest probably, then put the Aegis on them. Given that the map was updated for the new round, I have no idea which that would be. If it results in me moving at least 2 squares to get to them, I'd actulaly get 10 temp hp from booming blade instead of 5, leaving me back at 40(+10) hp.
