I've been playing a ton of the new version of Dungeon (he's not old enough to be trusted with my 1975 version yet), and we've been having a ball. We'll definitely be buying any decent adaptations of the board games.

I'll keep asking till you do,

Please bring Conquest of Nerath to IOS.

Could you outline for me quickly why it is *they* seem to think so, contrary to all other evidence?

Apparently you haven't heard that THEY are almighty and all-knowing. You shall receive a corrective visitation soon.

More seriously, it's largely because "all other evidence" consists of guesswork based on (if I recall correctly) one quote about the development cycle that was extrapolated to mean 5E would come out in 2014 (along with that being the fortieth anniversary of D&D). The counter-argument is largely based around how long of a production gap that'd leave, and the release dates of some Forgotten Realms adventures in the next few months.

If 5e were planned for release this August, we would need to be play testing the final draft of the rules now in order for them to be able to make any necessary corrections before release. The playtest rules do not appear to be anywhere near that stage.

How did you hear about it? Is there a place where I can see everything they talked about?

I heard via the magic of modern communications! I don't know of a video or transcript; sorry. I also recall tweets at the time if you felt like searching.
