1: for starting gold for multi-class, average the gold for the classes? 80 for M-U, 120 for Thief for 100 gold average?
2: starting spells are on pg 39 of the DMG... How do we determine spells after those?
1. Don't take average starting gold, roll for the most favorable class, so 2d6X10 gp.
2. Every time you go up a level, you get to choose one new spell of any level that you can cast at your new level. Past that, you'll have to find or buy scrolls, or find another magic-user to swap with.
