Not to be rude, but I thought I had made it clear I do not want to use 3.5 for various reasons. Also, and I am not trying to be flippant, but why are you trying to convince me to use it?
I have already, through this process, learned of B&T and 13th Age, so I have expanded by horizons considerably

I have also rediscovered an appreciation for C&C, as well as seeing the Crusader's Companion and Advanced C&C.
My dislikes of 3.5 are as follows;
1] Encounter creation
2] Feat Bloat
3] Magic/Spell handling
4] Skills and skill bloat
5] Everything past lvl 6 for the most part.
That's more than enough reasons for me to look for something else. I am not trying to get someone to "show" me how I have missed out 3.5, I am trying to find an alternative that keeps the parts I do like about 3.5;
1] Racial Abilities
2] Class Abilities
3] Ascending AC
4] BAB
5] Diverse Classes
6] Limited Feats
7] Easy Multiclassing
Those things are not exclusive to 3.5, or at least require me to use 3.5 only.
The problems I listed are inherent to 3.5, and turn me off of the game considerably. So I have reached my conclusion of what I need to do, which is to either hack C&C or expanded BFRP.
Oh and the reason I like E6 is that it pulls the reins on the "super power" explosion that occurs after lvl 6 and completely changes the tenor and tone of D&D for me. Back in my 1e and 2e days, that didn't happen... hell I remember playing a 13th level Paladin in one game and while being powerful, he wasn't knocking down towers and able to destroy entire villages with a wave of his hand (yes I exaggerate for effect).
As well, I have looked at the microlite versions of d20 and they are too light for my tastes, which leads me to my conclusion that 3.5/Pathfinder is just not for me.
