Depends what you mean by "massive amounts", and also how they're gained (build and circumstances).

Example- Robillard's Gambit + Double Hit and Improved Combat Reflexes.

I already have the idea of lowering the dex to less than the requirement for ICR.... was just wondering if there were other ideas/things to do.

Don't provoke them?

On one level, darrell is right - though with a Robilar's Gambit build this is easier said than done.

So, in general, you don't attack a character with Robliar's Gambit. You do the following:

a) You use missile weapons or spellcasters, generally with distributed multiple attackers.
b) You attack with large sized creatures that are using reach weapons, thereby escaping retaliatory strikes. If they have improved combat reflexes, so much the better.
c) You immediately go to grapple, preferably with improved grab, preventing normal combat.

The other option is to fight cheese with cheese, though this is generally a losing proposition against a decent power gamer.

I had a player who did this with one of his characters. I let him have fun with it for a while but once I presented an intelligent foe that they faced a few times we had an encounter where the foe yelled out "He's using the Robilar's Gambit, adjust the fighting strategy to compensate" and then the attackers withdrew and used missile weapons and other strategies like we see in this thread. It worked well in game because it shows the enemies adjusting to the PCs tactics. I'll do that with any character though that just has one tactic they always use be it with spells or whatever. The enemies learn it and counter and the PCs usually get their ass whipped because they are not prepared for when what they have always done no longer works.

In general if a player chooses a combination of feats and abilities that does prove too powerful or not a lot of fun for the rest of use we ask him to stop and rebuild his character with something different. Luckily, I don't play with people that want to break the game.

The main abuser is a wild shaping druid that I've mentioned here before. I already have several things special set aside for him.

Honestly, I was thinking more of something to help the players. I just finished up making a couple of Drow warriors that are truly over the top- especially with AoO attacks- one of them based off the Lightning Strike/two mace/blood in the water and the other pimping out power attack and wraith strike with a two handed weapon. Both can generate a large number of AoOs.

That and usually there is something to counter most things, and there is so much 3.5 stuff out there- was wondering if there were things I didn't know about.

Unfortunately, this one player likes to think it's a competition.

Part of me is to the point of just removing him from the group period, but I am worried that would cause friction in the group.
