If I were going to go with archtypes...


Barbarian Vs Paliden winner Vs FIghter = A1
Warlock Vs Sorcerer Winner vs Wizard =B1
Druid Vs Bard Winner Vs Cleric = B2
Ranger Vs Monk Winner Vs rogue =A2

then I would A 1 Vs A2 and B1 vs B2... then winner of A vs winner of B


that is 4 threads run for 3 days, then 2 threads for 3 days then 1 thread for 3 days... 9 days of fun...

I was going with the "classic" archetypes (fighter/wizard) on one side and the "nouveau riche" (cleric, thief) on the other, but I like your articulation better.

The Grey Mouser looks at you funny for considering him "nouveau riche", given that stories that use him go back to the 1940s.

More seriously, though, while you claim these are fun, popularity contests are not so much fun for folks who get told the thing they like is a "loser". The "survivor" threads have proven to be somewhat problematic, and used as a vehicle for edition warring and some general spitefulness. If arguments break out, and we have to close a thread, it is going to hose your bracket system. Please consider that.
