For some reason, my mind interpreted the 48 hours as 1 day. It was only after Rune posted I realized that there are only 24 hours in a day. I'll blame it on being tired last night.

But regardless of the time limit, I still would have probably turned it in right after having it done this morning.

Adventure is done. Exactly 1500 words. Almost scrapped my first concept entirely in despair trying to get it to fit in 1.5k, then realized I had to tighten it up. A lot. Trimmed most of the fat and hopefully none of the meat.

Now to let it sit and hope it isn't all gristle when I read it again tomorrow.
