I tried to put in so much...but I left out something obvious: character oriented tools that just aren't specific classes or spells, but would, say, let you emulate a past edition. So your skill ranks, encounter powers for everyone, that sort of thing.

I want digital tools that will help me manage my time better, especially when it comes to customizing statblocks. I'd love to be able to take one of the generic NPC statblocks from the back of the MM, for instance, and plug in racial traits or swap around equipment or spells and end up with a ready-to-use statblock that didn't require me doing it all by hand. I'm finding that to be the most time-consuming part of being a 5e DM at the moment, so some kind of software to help speed that up would be super helpful for me.

Actually, what I really want to see more than anything is innovation. Stuff that makes me say "Oh, that's interesting!" and really pushes the game in a new direction. The OSR has seen some really innovative stuff over the last few years, like Yoon-Suin, A Red and Pleasant Land, Beyond the Wall, and Stars without Number, just to name a few off the top of my head, and I'd love to see that kind of innovation on top of a system I feel is mechanically more suited to my tastes.

I want good fun Forgotten Realms-based adventures more than anything. Specifically, I want a sequel to Lost Mine of Phandelver. Or at least a new adventure that can be easily used right after finishing the Starter Set adventure.

Sure, but it need not be the only one. Variety is good. And I was thinking of something a bit more simpler than a full adventure path.
