D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

Did my usual rebuild. Small issues:
resistance override: typed in override box does not show on Start or CSI.
Familiar animal overrride does not show on CSII
Have pseudodragon/faerie dragon/wyvern added to shapechage ability by Item. Pseudodragon works properly for all stats when typed into original Wildshape name
Wildshape: name does not overrride, All other overrides work
Available forms do not correspond to proper forms, restrictions agianst swim/fly not evident. CRs do not seem to align.
Kudos: active & ability features seem to be good, actions area seems to respond as expected.

Thanks for the great feedback, see below for my comments

Character resistance override works for me, what is the scenario for your issue so I can look into it
Corrected the animal override, wild shape name and the CR, limitations in the next build
will add additional creatures for shape changers etc to the list in the next build. If you have any other, let me know.

First off, these tips will only work with version 2.00 or later. 1.xx versions are fully protected and will stay that way.

On CS4 you can unprotect the sheet and then adjust the font size. The normal size is 14, but I find 12 works quite well. This will not work for the Start page, and not sure what happens if you try to adjust the size on the Summary page.

To unprotect the sheet I just select the Character Sheet 4 tab and then right click the tab. There should be a list of options and one is Unprotect. Then I just right click anywhere in the RBCF text and one of the options is to change font options. I would re-protect the sheet after you get the option you like, so that the underlying formulae don't get accidentally messed up.

I included the 3rd screenshot to the font size changed (12point) and font type changed, as well.

I use Excel 2010....if you use a different version the options may in a different place.

Nice one, there is also the option to remove the extraneous information such as weapons, tools, save proficiencies, racial adjustments etc. This is done on the Start sheet, in check the All Details option in the top right under Display.

v2.00b4

Same character (arcane domain cleric):

The Wizard spells chosen at 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th levels properly show up in the spell list, but the "Select your spells..." area is not registering that they have been selected. Perhaps the difference in capitalization is causing a problem? It doesn't affect the standard domain spells, so I am not sure.

Thanks for the feedback, this is fixed in the next build (basically it wasn't "seeing" those spells as Domain spells)

v2.00b4

Character is a Cleric of the Arcane domain. At 1st level he gets to choose 2 cantrips from the Wizard spell list, and those cantrips count as cleric cantrips for him. At 8th level he gets the ability Potent Spellcasting, which adds his Wisdom modifier to the damage he deals with any cleric cantrip. Because those wizard cantrips count as cleric cantrips for him, they should get the extra damage also, but the program is only showing the extra damage for the normal cleric cantrips.

Working on this to improve how this work, it will be implemented in the next build

Thanks for all the hard work, but now down to business.

v2.00 b4

Druid - Wild Shape Limitations. Inputting a level 5 Circle of the Moon Druid, while the CR Max is correct, it is incorrectly showing "Limitations: none". It should still show "No flying speed" at 4th Level. 8th Level is when there are no more limitations (PHP pg. 66).

Will continue to input up to Level 20 to see what else I can find.

Thanks for the feedback, corrected in the next build

ForgedAnvil: Great tool. I really appreciate the hard work and dedication you've given this project.
I've found that you have a heavy dose of vlookups through out the file. If you converted those vlookups to index/match lookups, the book would calc faster AND more importantly, you would gain a lot more flexibility to use named ranges that vlookups don't naturally support as efficiently.

I use Index / Match syntax in some areas of the tool, but you're right there are a lot of vlookups, speed at the moment is pretty good. To go through and update all vlookups to index/match will be quite an effort for not a lot of return. If the tool gets slow I'll look into it then :)

Its really less about the speed and more about the flexability of using named ranges more fluidly. I would be more than glad to contribute my time changing the formulas and creating named ranges for the new index/match usage.
