Hiya!

I went with Lemon Curry. The reason is that 5e has become less a thing. We play "mini-campaigns". These are 1 per week sessions of around 4 to 5 hour's each (on Sundays), and they go on for multiple months (2 or 3, maybe 4).

We switch to another game system after that and do about the same thing (sometimes just a "three-off", depending). We *would* be playing a LOT more 5e. Problem is...WotC has pretty much kicked all the "old skool gezers squad" to the curb. :( The hooked us in with the promiss of "anyone, from any system, can play it...and its all up to you guys as there will be no 'default' world".

Well, thing is, old skool gezers like me enjoy tweaking or creating our own 'stuff' (campagin world, adventures, etc), or (and this is a big part) just plonking down $20 for a generic "adventure module for 4 to 6 PC's of levels X to Y". It is the last part there that keeps us from playing consistently. I mean, if I'm going to have to create every adventure from scratch...well, I might as well do it for Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea, or Powers & Perils, or Shatterzone, or SUPERS!, or Masterbook System, or, or, or...

*shrug* No real skin off my teeth...just means we get to play a lot of different systems and in a lot of different settings! :) But, it sure would be nice to be able to rely on WotC to put out one "classic style" generic setting adventure module for levels X to Y every couple months. If Goodman Games didn't have their own RPG (DCC RPG), I'm sure they'd be pumping out kick as modules like they did for 3.x.

So, yeah. Lemon Curry. :) Would be 1/week, but WotC doesn't want to support my preferred style of play. *shrug* Oh well, their loss I guess.
