This sounds like quite the cool campaign setting. Only 1 of them has been corrupted, but have any of the other PCs been tempted to purposefully corrupt themselves for power after seeing what happened to the 1st PC?
Thanks for the compliment! While it's come up out of character the affected PC hasn't brought it up fully to the rest of the party yet. They had strong reactions to even little things so she doesn't really want to worry the rest of them.

The party has seen their ally NPC purposefully expose himself to get powers but they primarily expressed the same worried concern about the lasting consequences. It seems they are quite scared of the mechanic which means I think I did something right.

Unfortunately two of my players are travelling overseas for school/work so we won't be able to continue. The campaign is set to end this Monday with an in game time skip to go right to the final confrontation with Demogorgon.

Well, I like to create whole subsystems. My favorite is my simplified Party Base system: Party Base

Also since I'm running a Saltmarsh campaign, I created some unique stats for ships and CANNONS: More Ships of the Sea
Nice, I haven't given my players a homebase yet, I'm trying to decide exactly how I want to set it up for them. I was thinking of adapting BECMI rules or using Strongholds and Followers. I just don't know how detailed I want to get with it.

@dnd4vr I see you have a Weapon Master feat that grants an unarmed attack that does bashing damage. Not sure if this is supposed to be bludgeoning or if bashing is something else in your game. Thanks

LOL bludgeoning... bashing is a hold-over from other systems. I don't do it often, but occasionally it slips through. Thanks, I'll update my pdf.
