I'm completely hooked on the show after seeing both episodes. I like how he's competent but not a complete badass (he's gotten beaten up pretty bad and his fight with the Jawas...lol, in a good way), which gives him room to grow. Love the visuals and plot regarding his important bounty.

We're not watching it until we can binge-watch the whole thing in a single weekend. Cuz that's how we roll.
We're not watching it because Disney has decided we're not allowed to until March. And that's not how we roll, watching all our friends talk about a show we're not allowed to watch.

I'm really against piracy. I'll pay for stuff any time I'm allowed to. This broke me.

The only thing that matters is: what does @Zardnaar think?! ;)

Seriously, though, I haven't seen it yet, but am inclined to agree with this take:

The Mandalorian is totally Boba Fett, you guys

Personally, I hate this take. I don't want him to be Boba Fett.

Besides the fact that he's a foundling, which implies he was found, and the flashback of CIS battle droids destroying what is implied to be where he lived, there's also that the producers have stated IG-11 isn't IG-88 because they didn't want to step on the toes of existing stories from legends. I think they'd have the same opinion about Boba Fett.

Yeah, it's a terrible model and I can't believe they chose to handle it that way. Instead of building excitement and anticipation among non-subscribers, they chose to build resentment and spite.

We aren't going to do anything illegal either, we will wait for the "new" to wear off and all episodes are available to watch, and then we might subscribe for a month. (We are equally likely to spend a weekend at our subscriber friend's house and watch it there.) If that isn't possible, we will probably give it a miss.

What was Disney's rational for the delay?
