Unfortunately Ms Gadot lacks physical qualities to really capture that 70/80s oomf that Ms Carter brought to the Role

I wasn't actually a huge fan of the last one; the action sequences were good but embodying the physicality aside Gal Gadot is not a particularly good actress in the role and the writing was also... not very good.

This one piques my interest but I'm not going into it with the nearly the same expectations as the last one

This looks like a lot of fun.

There might be an issue why Batsy had to dig a WW2 photo of her when she's making haywire in 1984 in malls (and no the attack on the cameras does not end what has already been recorded). But other than that - definitely looks enjoyable.

Perhaps you've heard of this thing DC has going on called the Multiverse? Earth 1, Earth 2, Earth x, Earth #s whatever as needed atm.... They've been using it for decades now.

So obviously this is just Earth #1984.

Which may or may not square perfectly at all points with whatever Earth # MoS etc took place on.

Perhaps you've heard of this thing DC has going on called the Multiverse? Earth 1, Earth 2, Earth x, Earth #s whatever as needed atm.... They've been using it for decades now.

So obviously this is just Earth #1984.

Which may or may not square perfectly at all points with whatever Earth # MoS etc took place on.

Edit: Oh, and remember, unless he's sandbagging, Batman as shown isn't The Worlds Greatest Detective in the MoS universe.

I can say that my family enjoyed the first one, and that we are likely to be going to the movies for the second one.

I personally think Gal Gadot is perfect for the part. At 5'10 and with an athletic frame, she manages to inhabit the role of a warrior in a way so many actresses just don't, and yet she has the elegance and beauty we'd expect of an Amazon princess. Plus, she can pull off looking Greek. I thought she was wonderful in the first movie, and a real bright spot in the casting.

As for the return of Steve, I'm kinda hoping for a 'Sixth Sense' style twist where it turns out that Chris Pine has existed only in Diana's imagination the whole time, but that's just because I love well done twists. (Which, really was one of my only objections to the first movie was the weakness of the twist and the decision to not use two actors in the role of Mars and have a more epic final showdown.)

Comics yes, series yes - but I'm not convinced the earth 1 and 2 will be brought in for this movie.
It is amazing you never gave this reply for others asking about the return of Chris Pine.
