I wonder what causes the wild swings? It was over 5,000 just a few days ago.#2,502 in Books, now.
Well at least since 2017, but that is still fairly new.Diamonds release of these numbers is new as far as I can tell. And welcome!
Interestingly the PF1 CRB is still #4 in Pathfinder books and the PF2 bestiary is #6#2,171 in Books
it is the pocket edition.Interestingly the PF1 CRB is still #4 in Pathfinder books and the PF2 bestiary is #6
Still interestingit is the pocket edition.
Maybe there is some special promotion for games? 5th ed and ZWEIHANDER are also up this weekend if you track their rankings. There are some widgets that estimate the sales from the rank, so you can see that is a pretty significant but not a huge absolute increase in sales numbers. I wouldn't get too hung up on any one number. It's more about the trend, like if you were watching a stock. So far, recent behavior has been a spike on or around a holiday and then a decline back to the general 4000 to 5000 range, with a recent new low around 6200 for a very brief time. It's been at that range for a few months, so it could be the system reached its stable point.I wonder what causes the wild swings? It was over 5,000 just a few days ago.
That is the standard problem GM products sell about 25% as well as player products. Bestiary's do a bit better than that usually but still not as well. I will be curious where the GMG and APG shake out later this year.Interestingly the PF1 CRB is still #4 in Pathfinder books and the PF2 bestiary is #6
Funny thing, the only PF1 books I bought were some of the bestiarys, I got the CRB and Bestiary in PF2e and I am thinking about the GMG, but it is seem less likely as the days go by. If it had come out shortly after the release of the CRB I probably would have snatched it up, but my interesting in running a PF2e game has waned. That is the standard problem GM products sell about 25% as well as player products.
