ZEITGEIST Any Zeitgeist 5e online tools?

I'm looking at starting an online 5e Zeitgeist campaign for a new group. We haven't decided what we're going to use to run the game, but the leading candidates are roll20 and Tabletop Simulator.

Are there any tools for running Zeitgeist in those (or other) formats? (I'm thinking like the official D&D modules, and there's a roll20 War of the Burning Sky, for instance)

thanks!

Mostly no.

A few of the AP's art assets have been packaged into products and you can find those by searching for zeitgeist on drivethrurpg and the Roll20 marketplace. But like a complete battle map pack, resized for roll20, no.

There are people who have run or are running it there, so it's possible that they have files that they prepared themselves that they would share privately.

In light of current events I am examining Roll20 for keeping my campaign going for the next few months, and would be interested if anyone has any maps or similar prepared for it (From Module 9 onwards, as thats where we have got to)

We don’t mind people sharing maps and handouts and the like. As long as they’re not giving away the adventure they shouldn’t feel they have to do it privately. In fact, if they use the WCPS (I know it’s got WOIN in the name, but it covers all our settings, and nothing insists that it be WOIN) they can even sell it and make money from it.

I am hoping to start putting Zeitgeist adventures up on Roll20 (similiar to the War of the Burning Sky adventures), but I imagine that is later than you want to start.

I'll also chip in that I'm interested in some online tooling for ZG. (Though I play PF.)

I live in Washington State, and we kindof aren't allowed out of our homes anymore, so our ZG campaign has gone online for the next couple months. We're in adv6, and I'm having a devil of a time trying to get the map for the T-Rex vineyard fight to line up to Roll20's internal gridlines. Would love if someone did that for the community. :)

Start with this: map alignment and you or 101 ways to get your grids in a row

After you Align to Grid, it will be close, but not quite right. Set "Advanced->Is Drawing" on the map. Then independently resize it vertically and horizontally (because it stars slightly distorted) until you line up the gridlines at each side of the map. You can then use the arrow keys to move the map into position 1 square at a time (or ALT+Arrow for 1 pixel at a time). Then shrink the page dimensions down to get rid of excess white space. Finally, in the page settings, set the grid to transparent. You will then get the benefits of the Roll20 grid but only see the grid from the map image.

Yesterday had my first ZG game in roll20, was pleasantly surprised how well it went, despite going in off the rails of the adventure and therefore not having pre-made maps available. Voice chat refused to work properly, so we used discord; dice rolls lagged horribly, disabling 3D animations only helped a little. BTW, is it possible to restore the link to ZG music theme? The old website leads to http://www.enworld.org/ap/zeitgeist_theme.mp3

EDIT: as side-note, organization of resources for ZG is, unfortunately, not one of its strong sides. I wonder if roll20 could serve as a sort of central hub for all maps, NPC bios, handouts etc, if not for ZG then for some next adventure.

Ah!, the trick was to hold down ALT when first dragging out the map image. Because ZG maps have a lot of chrome around the outside of them, and said chrome is not exactly grid-sized, when roll20 did snap-to-grid on the initial sizing, it made the image-map squares no longer quite square. And all the resizing I did from that point on inherited that initial squishing.

I ran the T-Rex fight earlier tonight! The gunsmith managed to crit (with his x4 rifle he got from Gorbatiy) against Merton, and no T-Rex got to make an attack roll in melee, so the fight lacked a bit of drama, but hey, we got to play it! w00t t00t! And I got to move around a lot of goat tokens.

Going to do a bonus encounter in Nimba where I ambush them with some Ob Skulks to try and wear down their attrition a bit, and then, on the the Adulthood Challenge! Will be exciting to try out the maze in roll20's fog of war feature.

Does anyone have a higher definition map of Torvald palace than the pdf. I cannot seem to expand that one enough to be useful as a battle map without it being so blurred it is useless for different reasons. I have a battle at the Palace coming up on Monday.
