D&D 5E Xanathar's Guide errata coming

It's not even healing spirit, tbh. I know this might ruin some builds but I'm hoping they nerf hexblade at early levels and balance by buffing them later. That way, a hexblade can stay as a damn hexblade for longer than 2 levels. 😤

Xanathars is full of powercreep.

Already banned healing spirit. Even if it only worked in a single person per turn it's still good.

Were you planning on selling it for thousands?
It no longer works, they changed the content. I would need to print and paste the update -yes, this is not errata, this is an update- in place or to write on the book. (I hate having to do that to books). So, now I have to ruin my book or forget about it being useful.

OK, but you had to do that to every other 5e D&D book so far, since they've all had some actual updates by your definition. So where's the beef now?

So...when does this affect the Xanthar's Guide to Everything Book of Physical copies? I need to nab a non errata version for my games.

Or you just print it, and put the piece of paper between the two pages. It's super simple. I printed some UA feats and slipped them into my PHB two years ago, and they've harmlessly remained there ever since.

I get it's frustrating, but this is really not worth working yourself up over. You've got hundreds of pages of totally fine content and now maybe 1/2 a page worth of content that you have to slap a sticky note over. You're going to be okay, I promise.

Not only that, it gives a standardized way of fixing problems in it that is less like;y than homebrew solutions to conflict with future content
