I started the survey, had to guess at some of the questions such as when I started playing or when I started playing 5e. Then they started asking how much money I spent on books and just gave up. I don't remember any of that.

I got 80.

And it was a bit hard to answer questions about owning/purchasing Tasha's, as I answered the survey literally less than an hour than its prospective digital release and a few days before purchasing my hard copy. So I put "yes" for those...

They're looking for feedback on how to steer the brand. If you don't want to give them your insight, don't complain if it goes in directions you don't want it to.

It's like people who don't bother to vote, then complain about the government.
Most notably, if you want them to focus on bringing back an old setting, this is exactly how to get your vote in. For example, I told them that I would want to see more detail for the rest of the Forgotten Realms, as well as Planescape and Greyhawk. For all the threads we get here about "Why don't they bring back X?" this is exactly how to make it known that you want "X" back!

Seemed quicker than that listed 25 minutes. Same as some other posters - bought books, no accessories. (Well, no adventure books - I don't DM them, and DMs I'm a player in do, so it's better if I don't pick them up.) I don't listen to podcasts.

I was laughing if they asked me if I used DnDBeyond or Youtube to make my first character after telling them I played since Original / Basic. (Red Box Basic to be specific, though my first DM.) Same for those as convincing me to buy the game.

I wonder what they'll get of my freeforrm text for "Would you recommend D&D". Basically it's a great edition, but also it has the brand recognition to get people into RPGs in general instead of pitching another system like Fate Core. Basically, D&D as a gateway.
