Nope that's a different era.

They referenced multiple Sith lords from Legends and the old Sith empire in the RoS visual book.

The red troopers each legion was named after a Sith lord.

The Sith in High Republic theoretically are following the rules of two. So no old Sith Empire for them in High Republic era.

Hard to say in new continuity but Bane's canon and he started Rule of Two.

To me old prerublic pre rule of two, the ancient sith Old Republic.

In new canon there's been a few ancient sith revealed such as Momin.

Not impossible the high republic era includes them but I doubt it.

I'm guessing we'll find out about if Mandalorians were around and/or when the dark saber dates from.

Nope, the Old Republic era ended about 1000 years before the movies, so way before the period of the High Republic.

The “Old Republic” ended when Palpatine turned it into the First Galactic Empire. Hence why the “New Republic” is so named.

Not really you have old republic, republic and new republic and now high republic.

They may change that though and not to sure what the high republic is about but I've seen leaked material on reddit.

Rise of Skywalker visual guide mixed in several legends and canon sith lords so can't say 100% either way until they make that call one way or another.

Some things didn't change eg Darth Bane and when he was, other things did eg Darth Bane trilogy goneburger.
