D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

I may add that deception doesn't work as you think. If you try to convince people of something that is unbelievable I won't even set a DC for this I won't even allow you to roll the dice. It's not because you're +50 deception that you can simply tell people anything and they will believe it.
"The Wizards plan to destroy and enslave the city. Kill them all."
"The bodies of innocents have been seen in the dungeons of the school of magic, they are killing innocents."

The Sorcerer with his unbeatiable Stealth check places the bodies of innocents there. To frame Wizards.
Stealth Casting Subtle Mass Suggestion (With Telephatic command) to cause even more destruction.
Stealth Casting Dominate Person to force a Wizard to attack a city with Fireball. :ROFLMAO: and force him to say "The Wizard will destroy everthing"

School of Magic vs School of Magic
"The necromancy school wants to turn all other Wizards into Undeads. Some Wizards are suddenly disappearing (a true fact). You need to eliminate that risk."

That is DC 15 at most. Not far from impossible.
You have no reason not to be suspicious of fat Wizards with 8 Cha.

For the sake of curiosity, at the OP, what DC does your DC usually affect to convince the childhood friend of someone to murder him? Maybe you succeeded in "DM, pwease" in your gaming group but it doesn't work elsewhere...
Are you suggesting the OP actually plays the game rather than simply posting builds on the internet? Facts not in evidence.

This is just a temporary happenstance: with so many level 20 characters in Foggy Bottom, someone will surely resurrect him soon...

Well, failing to provide the necessary information on first turn activities, we'll once again run a fight between the Lazy One and Alfred. The previous Lazy One failed to kill him in one turn and Alfred moved away, but let's say Alfred was to busy trying to worry about who tried to assassinate him using 9th level spells because he had more important things to do, like changing Rufus's litter for example.

A few days later, when somehow the Lazy One had bothered to prepare for a new attempt on Alfred's life...

Round 1 :

Lazy Copy casts subtle dispel, hidden under a rock, to remove the magics on Butler 432.
Lazy One casts subtle dispel, hidden under another rock, to remove the magics on Alfred.
DMM does nothing.

Let's suppose that Team Lazy is lucky and succeed in Dispelling Butler 432 AND the Contingency on Alfred (and the five Light Cantrips on his staff). Even if he would be a fool not to notice the advance alert system of five light cantrips going out at the same time -- it was a standard measure among wizards able to cast spells of the 6th level to have a few lights around them to know when their Contingency was dispelled, and also among wizards able to cast only 5th level spells but who wanted other to think they had reached a higher pinnacle of power -- it would be totally improbable that he wouldn't notice his butler suddenly vanishing out of existence.

On his turn, Alfred has no idea of who is attacking him. It could be a Cleric sending Divine Intervention at him. It could be the Head Librarian of Candlekeep Wishing harm to him because he's late returning Journey to Bliss, by Binky, and the ladies are very insistent he gets the book back for loan, it could be anything... But the most probable threat would be that drow matron mother in the distance. Maybe Eilirilia didn't like being dumped and resolved to avenge her... He should have sent a few chocolates for her birthday after leaving. But, it's strange that the chose to act now, and, as a Wizard, he wanted to have time an exert his Intelligence at solving the problem. So, he acted, by casting Dimension Door to appear right behind the DMM (since she was expected to be part of the fight, she can't be really farther as she lacks any mean of fast transportation).

Round 2 :

As they have absolutely no way to know whether the Contingency have been dispelled, Team Lazy, certain they can't be detected, just recast their Dispelling, making sure in their mind that they got their success. It was all part of the strategy exposed so far by the OP in post #670. I suppose that Alfred is still within range of Extended Dispel, eventually after a move action. The DMM does nothing (or maybe she could cast a spell... but nothing that could kill Alfred in one round, since her best offensive ability is harm, which inflicts at most -84 HP. In this case...

At this point, Alfred casts Wish to create a Simulacrum of the DMM (which would cause Butler 432 to vanish, even if he hadn't been dispelled. Telepathically, he instructs his nifty new Eilirilia doll -- Alfred is an ethical man, please don't imagine anything! -- who will act just after him in the initiative order, to cast Planeshift to a harmless plane. Let's say Mechanus, for laugh's sake.

Round 3 :

I don't know what Team Lazy will do (maybe the OP will want to determine actions on Round 3, but on this round, Alfred will demiplane back to his lab, where he will proceed to ask the DMM's simulacrum, who his loyal to him and have witnessed all the habits of the Lazy One and is very well acquainted to him, to reveal everything while he prepares his counterstrike.

Didn't they want a domination plan? Well, I think the best Skill Monkey and Manipulation Character in the game It will cause problems, certainly.

My experience of humans is that even if they believe you, they won’t do anything about it: simply cross their fingers and hope someone else deals with the problem.

That was actually your best laid plan, to try to encite wizards, who can actually kill other wizards contrary to the long list of "demigods", to kill themselves in a civil war.

With a DC 15, it wouldn't work because many, many, many people could defuse the hate against Wizards you're trying to create. Even CHA 8 wizards are susceptible to make the check 25% of the time without trying (and they'd probably cast Enhance Ability (Eagle's Splendor) before making their public speech to get a success the majority of the time.

Lazy One to crowd: "the Wizard is cooking babies!" (Lazy One then disappear in the shadow, walking to another city)
Crowd: "booo! let's try our town wizard for cooking babies!"
Wizards: (casting Eagle's Splendor): "That's a baseless accusation! I am eating babies RAW!"
Crowd: "ah, ok, sorry, then".

For what it's worth, I've just realized that a 20th level wizard with Spell Mastery: alarm and see invisible will completely derail the plans of anyone trying to sneak up on him invisibly or ethereally.

Nondetect and Mind Blank foils see invisible and Alarm. OK, The Bastion doesn't care.
